While I have the utmost respect for Dr. Yeadon and his work, I am wary of Mark Devlin as he promotes the flat earth theory. Being associated with that is enough to discredit Dr. Yeadon and all of the incredible information he has provided.

I have been about the cosmos argument, I think what we need to stay very aware of is how are minds picture of the cosmos came from as with all of our information. How can we be so trusting of information that came from word of mouth, text book, television, internet? My school taught me the Big Bang theory, and evolution happened ) some ridiculous number in the billons ) years ago. I fell for it, and quantum physics, energy can’t be created or destroyed, it also made me an atheist. I’ve come to know without question that God is real, and I look back at how easily I was fooled. I have not been outside of earth’s atmosphere , in truth I can’t even say the word atmosphere so I can not know if the earth is round or flat or triangle, I can’t know the truth of anything up there or if space even exists in the way they say it does, so my argument in either direction would be ignorant, I would be lying if I said the earth was flat, but I would also be lying if I said it was round. I do know what I was told led me away from God, and the bottom line is that is evil. Have you been there? Can you say with absolute certainty that it’s round? If by chance we are being led astray by the ones who say they’ve seen it, the one who wrote the text books, the internet, ( Media )could you imagine the damage it’s caused? Do you think there are people out there that believe they have the motive to tell such lies? Really question it

You don't need to leave the earth's atmosphere (or try to, like that flat earther who died strapped to a rocket ...) to verify by yourself that the earth is a globe, by doing the Bedford level experiment, which proves the curvature of the earth. Love that scene in the "Behind the curve" documentary where a flat earther watches in disbelief the boat slowly disappear from the top down.

When the sun goes down I see the sun's light reflecting off the bottom of the clouds. This is enough for me to conceptualize that the sun goes beneath the clouds. What the heliocentric models gives us is a reason for the motion of the bodies in the solar system. The gravitational force of the sun is driving the whole thing. In flat earth theory there is no prime mover that makes the whole thing go. The flat earth questions allow us to investigate and separate the dross. Science isn't about believing anything. You're allowed to not know things. Cartesian doubt. Suspend judgment until we can learn more. In science, you're allowed to have been wrong. It says nothing about your character. Your investigation is going to reveal many truths that those who are unwilling to question will never apprehend.

We certainly can't believe all we have been told about "space". The moon missions were a hoax; the ISS may also be a hoax; there is some question as to whether satellites even exist or do "orbit" a globular spinning earth. How high above the ground has anyone ever been, truly? Both the Russians and Americans faked much of their space stuff. Then there are the unmanned lunar probes and so on. Genuine or another hoax? The Pentagon and the military apparently base their geographic coordinates on a " flat non-rotating earth " model.

The globe earth model makes successful predictions about the observable cosmos. That is what makes it science.

Some things that it predicts: The position of all the heavenly bodies in the sky (Sun, Moon, stars, planets) from any location on Earth, at any time, past, present, or future. The seasons. The time of sunset and sunrise at any location on Earth. The time of eclipses and the locations on Earth where you can view them. The list could continue.

What can flat earth successfully predict about the cosmos: Nothing. Therefore globe earth is better science than flat earth.

NASA is indeed guilty of fraud, but not about everything. I believe the FE theory was rolled out to discredit the conspiracy theorists who were exposing the moon landing hoax.

Yes, and to discredit conspiracy theorists in general.

I am hopeful on the spiritual, hopeless on the physical level, but they will indict, arrest, try and convict some lower level "perps" that looked the other way because they had a mortgage, and no morals.

Is Yeadon any different than McCULLough? I hope so.

You don't need to "hope", just look at their behavior. They are worlds apart.

Mike:

The sky is washed out, and the sun looks white, due to the dispersed aluminum & so on from ongoing geoengineering operations:

https://www.geoengineeringwatch.org/the-dimming-full-length-climate-engineering-documentary/

The sun hasn't changed, but we also have a new, higher energy uv band, UVC.

More injuries now of people / pets locked in cars parked in the sun. Surfaces, such as sidewalks, getting much hotter than before - danger to animals:

https://www.geoengineeringwatch.org/?s=uvc

Man has been a lousy steward of our planet, including anthropogenic warming.

Not an either / or problem, but the elephant in the living room is geoengineering.
