You never know with numbers. In my personal biography, a number of odd connections to the number 13, enough of them that it seems more than a coincidence. Traditionally an unlucky number, it has - if anything - been a lucky number for me, for several key moments of my life have turned for the better by drawing the equivalent of drawing to an inside straight... sometimes several of them in succession.
