People tend to ignore anything but their own views. I will illustrate by use of religions/cults. Having studied and interacted with many religions, I find over 90% of them are apostate. I have and can point out the errors therein yet adherents/members of those cults mainly refuse to break the bond they have that is necessary to be free. The point is CPP that people will not and downright cannot be educated. They are close minded. I have studied different religions and found many are errant according to scriptures but the members will not accept plain Truth. Thus my term "sheeple" applies.
For example, I studied with JW's a long time but they could not or would not answer my questions or perspectives that proved their beliefs errant. Ditto with mormons. These are good people and sincere, who I like, but one can be sincere and still be wrong.
I still don't agree.. here is why. I believed in vaccines, western medicine, etc etc etc for years. I was vaccinated, my children were also. When I took the covid shot, I was still gung-ho, but hesitant for the forcing of people and losing their jobs. When I became vax injured, not only did I become re-educated, but I now advocate for others. I help people with resources, information, support, whatever is needed. I speak out at rallys, interviews, conferences, wherever I can.
So sheeple only applies to what you believe, not what the real world is. People do things for many different reasons and I have see this for years as a former cop. I did it bc as a single mom, I could not lose my job. I was homeless before when my abusive husband walked out, thank god, but he left me w/ nothing and caused me to lose my job.

It started out as vax injured but has grown into so much more. I am going to rename the group when I can think of a better one. But I keep it on there for now so people can find it easily when they need help.

Actually I need to tell you I came into her life to teach, but she taught. I came to help her and she helped me. I loved/love that girl but she loved me more. I respected, trusted, and understood that girl but she returned that a hundred fold.

I was out last night with another in my life in another non romantic friendship and I had acquiesced to her wanting to see me. She was also hurt and abandoned. She told me she cried only in the shower. Another few chunks torn out of my heart.

She is like all women. They want respect, understanding and trust/transparency. They get it from me. I understand Eric where you are coming from. I also grasp with both hands the reality of others I know who only erred by trusting their doctors as CPP did. I understand that and confess I was confused, but what saved me from the jab were medical experts I had contact with who warned me, and one especially I trusted completely who told me before she got her medical degree that she did a paper on natural immunity and to trust in my BRAS (natural immunity) to protect me which I did.
I want to to say I have travelled in life with the belief that learning is a voyage and not a harbor. So it was I went on a "Women and Abuse" bulletin board to be educated. The worst hurt I ever suffered was not watching my father and mother die. It was the process where these women educated me in realizing by their actions, they had been deceived. One of them focused on me and "spilled her guts" more than enough to break me. How could I understand her hurt and draw close to her as I did? And what did I find under all the layers of hurt upon hurt that had been laid on who has been MBF for decades? I found the most beautiful girl in the world, far better than I, whose sublimity from within flowed out, over her, over and into me. What if I had not been receptive to details of her past?
It would have been a tragedy to me for not entering into the prison of her hurt and helping her break the bars of her bondage. More so, I would never have met the softest, warmest, sweetest and most beautiful girl in the world. Truth is I do not deserve her, but she instructed me by example to make a way within me for the nobler character traits she possessed.
She broke me, and in my weakness strength was gained…I will cherish her until my end.

I have studied different religions and found many are errant according to scriptures but the members will not accept plain Truth. Thus my term "sheeple" applies.

So sheeple only applies to what you believe, not what the real world is. People do things for many different reasons and I have see this for years as a former cop. Actually I need to tell you I came into her life to teach, but she taught. I came to help her and she helped me. I loved/love that girl but she loved me more. I respected, trusted, and understood that girl but she returned that a hundred fold.
There is no way for me a man to best the nobler characteristics in a woman, for I believe they are God's most beautiful and precious creation. I saw/see that firsthand. I was out last night with another in my life in another non romantic friendship and I had acquiesced to her wanting to see me. She was also hurt and abandoned. Another whiz gal with a mind of excellence. They all are.
This one is a smart ass. Several years ago she suggested we be friends. I stood in front of her and told her I knew why she wanted that. I told her it was because I had grey hair and was harmless. I never got the "s's" out of my mouth before she stepped close, stuck her finger in my face and said, "but I know better." So witty!!! We laughed and laughed and laughed. And have been friends since then. Same rules! No touching. No being alone together. (as in hotel rooms)
Last night as usual she hugged the dickens out of me! They all know I hate that. But not wanting to hurt their tender feelings, I soldier on and put up with it. ( hahaha If you believe that, have I got some swampland in Florida to sell you!!!) Seriously, that is her persona. She has two girls I dote on and I asked her once how she hid her hurt she suffered. She told me she cried only in the shower. Another few chunks torn out of my heart.
I hugged her. I broke the rules to NOT touch. I held onto her. She responded in like. Then we separated. Said nothing. But an attachment had been made but it was not dirty or sensual. She is like all women. They want respect, understanding and trust/transparency. They get it from me. And they love the part that defines "understanding" which creates in both parties a "peaceful easy feeling" that beggars description. There is no competition. None know who the others in my life are or their circumstances, only that there are others.
A real woman is composed of an undefinable immense and intense bundle of affection that will push them to die for their children. I need take care to not worship the creation more than the Creator. That is my attitude. Last night S told me I love the part of you that takes no sh*t. But she loves more the gentle understanding she gets from me.
MALES have changed but not for the better. Real women do not hold that status save as a minority. But every woman in my life is real.

I understand Eric where you are coming from. I also grasp with both hands the reality of others I know who only erred by trusting their doctors as CPP did. I understand that and confess I was confused, but what saved me from the jab were medical experts I had contact with who warned me, and one especially I trusted completely who told me before she got her medical degree that she did a paper on natural immunity and to trust in my BRAS (natural immunity) to protect me which I did.
I want to to say I have travelled in life with the belief that learning is a voyage and not a harbor. So it was I went on a "Women and Abuse" bulletin board to be educated. I did not find any stupid women. Instead I found precious, intelligent and articulate women hurt in ways that tore big chunks off my heart.
The worst hurt I ever suffered was not watching my father and mother die. It was the process where these women educated me in realizing by their actions, they had been deceived. One of them focused on me and "spilled her guts" more than enough to break me. She is now one of several in my life who are close friends in a non romantic way but who take my breath away in their inner and outer beauty. I was out last night with one of them. The day before the one very close to me called and the affection in her voice moved me. How and why? She has been hurt worse than any I ever knew. The kicker? Her and the one I took out last night are super intelligent. I am sure they are in the top one percent of IQ which puts them above 130 which is genius level.
Abused women are not stupid. CPP was an abused woman, that made me back up a long way. Her manner of putting together phrases and word usage indicate she is up there too. I had to back up and re evaluate my perspectives and in process admit I was harsh, judgmental and unfair and I regret that and seek her forgiving me of that gaffe. More so, I would never have met the softest, warmest, sweetest and most beautiful girl in the world.
