We've extended average lifespans by decades over recent centuries just by improved sanitation, food and water. Still room for improvements, if Joe doesn't screw things up much worse. Robotic augmentation doesn't seem likely to extend lifespans, since we still need the biological core to drive the robotics, and they're as vulnerable to poor lifestyle choices with or without prosthetics.
