I'd like to comment on Sy Hersh'es fantasy that the crisis in Israel can be solved diplomatically. The Tripoli Pirates were demanding ransom from European shippers when the Muslims captured their ships and cargo. The crews would be forced to convert to Mohammedism or die. Thomas Jefferson sent troops to kill the pirates. He would have completely wiped them out except the American State Department negotiated a deal.
With Blinken and Biden in charge, American troops are in full retreat around the world, massing for the inevitable. The only question is this - Will America be able to build enough unmanned drones to defeat armies that do not believe they are women trapped in men's bodies.
