If there are massive violent protests after Trump is elected, there should be mass arrests and mass detentions and trials and sentences commensurate with the jail times given to the (so-called) “January 6 insurrectionists”.
Beyond the fact that in the electoral campaigns and not only, the biggest parties in the relationship with the voters aim to tell them only what they want to hear, all these masquerades a la biden and trump are specially designed to reduce the desire to vote. what has happened over time, voting attendance has dropped considerably all over the world. not that it matters, maybe the time will come for the population to finally recognize that democracies are dead. the winners of the "elections" are known, they are nominated before the electoral campaigns, and the same thing that is put in the ballot box is never taken out of the ballot box, nor is there any need to count, if anyone still thinks that it matters who counts the votes.

Any form of change carries a massive load of fear, not excitement, especially in the western populations dominated by ‘status quo’ (populations gone stagnant). These folks will hang on stoic and white-knuckled until they have a safe landing pad provided for them. Sadly they were easy prey for those holding them hostage.
