Tucker Carlson: The Putin Interview

Last week, Tucker Carlson traveled to Rusia to interview President Vladimir Putin. This sent the left into hysterics - some of whom have called for the journalist to face sanctions, or worse.

Prior to the interview - which can be seen right now in its entirety at tuckercarlson.com, Carlson explained that it's his job as a journalist "to inform people," as "most Americans are not informed" as to what's happening in Ukraine.

Hamas this week proposed a ceasefire plan that would see a four-and-a-half-month truce during which hostages would be freed in three stages, and which would lead to an end to the war, in response to a proposed outline sent last week by Qatari and Egyptian mediators and backed by the United States and Israel.

Report: Contact with Sinwar cut off, Hamas leadership making decisions without him

Sources in the security establishment said that contact with the Hamas leader has not only been cut off from his organization's members but also from the mediators in the hostage negotiations.

Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was not involved in drafting the answer that Hamas gave to Israel's proposed hostage deal, Kan News reported on Thursday. According to the report contact with Sinwar was cut off ten days ago and the Hamas leadership has been making decisions without him.

Sources in the security establishment said that contact with the Hamas leader has not only been cut off from his organization's members but also from the mediators in the hostage negotiations.

US, Qatar working to expel Hamas from Doha - report

Since the beginning of the war in Gaza, there have been several reports that Qatar is considering expelling Hamas from Doha.

The US and Qatar are working together to expel Hamas leaders from Doha, Al-Arabiya reported on Friday. The head of Hamas's politburo, Ismail Haniyeh, has lived in luxury in Doha for years. Qatar has been central in meditating talks aimed at reaching a ceasefire and a release of the hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza. The Al-Arabiya report did not provide further details about the alleged Qatari and American efforts to expel Hamas from Doha.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu indicates that the over one million civilians who have crowded into the southern Gaza city of Rafah will be able to evacuate before the IDF begins operating there.

The statement comes amid US statements that Israel has not conducted the pre-operational planning necessary to ensure that civilians will be kept out of harm’s way and that failure to do so risks “disaster.” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he has instructed the IDF and defense establishment to present the cabinet with plans for both the evacuation of the Palestinian civilian population from the southern Gaza Strip, and the dismantlement of Hamas’s battalions in the Rafah area.

That drone strike was reportedly in retaliation for an earlier Hezbollah launch at a military base that left three IDF soldiers wounded — one seriously — as a rash of cross-border attacks throughout the day kept tensions at the border high.

The commentary cited comments by NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg during a recent visit to the U.S. about NATO's "readiness."According to a report from Newsweek, that article said the Russia-Ukraine conflict could grow into a "world war."

Bill to ban displays of Satan in public property moves forward in Senate

A measure that would keep anything Satan-related away from public spaces passed a state Senate committee on Wednesday morning.

The Committee on Government approved SB 1279 by a 5-1 vote, with two senators not voting. Republican Sen. Jake Hoffman, who represents southern Maricopa and Pinal counties, introduced the bill, which is also known as the Reject Escalating Satanism by Preserving Core Traditions Act. It would ban any symbols, statues or displays that represent or honor Satan from being on public property.
