Ukraine claims it foiled Russian plot to kill Zelensky
A woman allegedly feeding information on the president’s whereabouts has been arrested
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced on Monday that it arrested a woman who had passed on intelligence to the Russians about the location of President Vladimir Zelensky so they could try to assassinate him.
The suspect is a resident of the port city of Ochakov in Nikolaev Region, who once worked at a military supply store as a sales clerk, according to the authorities. The SBU said they caught her “red handed” while passing on intelligence to the “invaders.”

Speaking to journalists over the phone on Tuesday, Prigozhin was asked to comment on Nuland’s personal visit to Niger and her advice to the new government not to strike any deals with Wagner.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - The New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START) is the most important arms control agreement that the United States and Russia must do all in their power to keep in effect, retired US Lt. Col. Nicholas Troyan told Sputnik.
"I think this is the most important treaty, among all others, because when we speak about strategic missiles, that means the end of the entire world," Troyan said.

This statement was made by Ingmars Lindaka, head of the parliamentary committee on citizenship and migration, during an interview with state media. He said that after receiving the orders, Russians will have 90 days to leave Latvia, otherwise they will be considered illegal migrants. According to him, these thousands of Russians are those who have not expressed interest in participating in the exams to obtain permanent residency certificates. These exams include tests of Latvian language, which has discouraged many Russians from taking part. Lindaka says those who have not been tested are illegally in the country and should be treated according to [recently imposed] Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs’ (PMLP) rules.

BEIJING (Sputnik) - Russia-China trade in January-July 2023 grew by 36.5 percent to $134.104 billion, China's General Administration of Customs said.
During the reporting period, China imported goods to Russia worth $62.545 billion, an increase of 73.4 percent on the same period in 2022; deliveries from Russia to China increased by 15.1 percent to $71.559 billion.
Separately, in July, trade between the two countries amounted to $19.488 billion: Russia supplied goods worth $9.208 billion to China; China supplied goods worth $10.280 billion to Russia.

The Philippine government summoned China’s ambassador on Monday and presented a "strongly worded diplomatic protest" over the use of water cannon by the Chinese coast guard during a weekend confrontation with Philippine vessels in the disputed South China Sea, the AP reported.
The tense hours-long standoff occurred Saturday near Second Thomas Shoal, which has been occupied for decades by Philippine forces stationed onboard a rusting, grounded navy ship but is also claimed by China. The FDA approved the first pill for postpartum depression (PPD), a depressive episode that usually happens after women give birth. The drug is called Zurzuvae and it was given fast track approval after only two studies that were not clinical trials. The first few rounds of clinical trials were suspended after they did not go well and the maker of the drug, Sage Pharmaceuticals, said that it would try other ways to earn FDA approval. The FDA says that Zurzuvae can “cause suicidal thoughts and behavior and may cause fetal harm.” So you won’t feel so depressed but you may want to kill yourself. Um…what?

But it’s SAFE and EFFECTIVE, it’s been proven by SCIENCE! Vitamins and herbs are “not safe or proven nor viable” yet something that seriously effects your brain chemistry and has NUMEROUS other side effects are just fine. I think I’ll stick with my jar of leeches thank you.
