We need to identify individual villains and advertise their crimes, loudly and broadly. As the hysteria subsides and sanity returns, more or less, some people will eventually be held accountable. We need to make sure the right ones get justice they deserve. Don't let them hide under cover of their bureaucracies.
Nova Scotia has been a major disappointment to me. I used to visit there every couple of years and the last time was sad because everyone seemed beat down. Low wages, poor health care, crippling taxes, mostly service jobs. I can see how they crumbled and complied quickly and how they're allowing it to continue. I don't see ever visiting it again even though I've always said if I could retire somewhere it would be there. Of all of the places in Canada that are broken now that one hits home. I've been in every Canadian city and I'll miss Halifax the most. A 70 year old dies with covid in a poorly run nursing home and they have to extend mandates.
