I find this article to be ambiguous. What is meant by ‘neurological death’? Sources on the internet describe that to mean BRAIN DEATH, which is a clinical and legal definition of death. Brain dead people may still appear to be alive and have a heartbeat but those medical people who drew up this definition in the 50’s, are not God but added that recovery is impossible.
However, there are many cases where people have been in a coma for years and “come back to life”. I believe that while a person’s heart still beats without being plugged in, they are not dead and should be given a chance to live.
The moral ramifications arise because euthanasia (death by doctor) is on the increase annually, and organ harvesting necessitates fresh organs. In both situations money is the motivating factor.

I find this article to be ambiguous. What is meant by ‘neurological death’? Sources on the internet describe that to mean BRAIN DEATH, which is a clinical and legal definition of death. Brain dead people may still appear to be alive and have a heartbeat but those medical people who drew up this definition in the 50’s, are not God but added that recovery is impossible.
However, there are many cases where people have been in a coma for years and “come back to life”. I believe that while a person’s heart still beats without being plugged in, they are not dead and should be given a chance to live.
The moral ramifications arise because euthanasia (death by doctor) is on the increase annually, and organ harvesting necessitates fresh organs. In both situations money is the motivating factor.
So what is more convenient than declaring someone brain dead, especially younger people with healthy organs, and whisking them off to be anaesthetised and then executed on the operating table while the organ people stand by.
I have seen this happen where a young person suffered a head injury in an accident. The parents were in shock and agreed to donate his organs when told by the attending physician that their son would not recover.
This is not always the case, but it is worth considering these possibilities because, since Covid we have learned that not all medical people, governments and politicians are imbued with the milk of human kindness.
