For those that might not be as educated or let me say knowing with regard to some of these things particularly historical references, it is hard to take seriously 'alluding' comments without giving more specific examples. With Nazi Germany being one of the 'big 3' as far as totalitarian regimes along with Mao and Stalin. Who might you be referring to. Yes, NK, Pol Pot. At what level do you qualify as a real 'bad' guy. If it was not worth your time, why comment at all?

My listed comments were valid. Nobody is responding to those...

I commented, because I love the author of this site and I don't want the site to be damaged by inferior articles.

Right. I only have two doctoral degrees, lived in various parts of the world in different cultures, and successfully taught at the University level in Europe and in America.

OK, I am not educated enough.

No, it's not worth my time, because one thing would lead to another and ultimately, when statements are based on myths, it becomes a job for religious conversion. Not interested.

Many frauds and tyrants are educated. Education isn't a measure of wisdom. Sadly, many waste their efforts on learning useless stuff. The US president's wife, for example, has a PhD in education and is practically illiterate. Those who want to impress others should write something smart rather than just saying they're smart.

Couldn't agree more. Never use the title Dr/PhD, because I prefer to present myself as I am.

Check out my site and see if you think I am "smart."

On the other hand, I can see, you are subscribing to Eugyppius. Here is my experience with him/her:

I'll leave it up to you how "intelligent" his/her behavior was...

I never said you weren't educated. I was a mere craftsman without a background in this and am very concerned with the direction of our country, world and ultimately our fate. I read things like this so I can learn. You hear things, you read things but what is the truth anymore. What are the myths? What are the facts?

I have a close friend who discounts everything, I mean everything on the internet. I tried to explain to her that you must have a discerning mind and do your own research. I've given up explaining anything to her.

This is an emotionally charged topic and an issue with emails, texts, etc is personal feelings get read into a comment. I'm sorry but you came off as arrogant. Thank you for citing your credentials but wasn't necessary. I appreciate the premise and goals you stated for your writings.

Thank you for your kind and honest reply. Apparently, I inferred something that you didn't imply.

We are all "mere craftsmen." I have had my time at constructions and in factories, too. Not much difference between all these occupations as long as one strives to excel, looking for the truth instead of trying to be right (the latter is a sign of low self-respect or being prone to conform without taking the responsibility for one's decision).

I'm sorry too; I have the propensity for being too curt and implying too much. It's easy to perceive it as flippant or arrogant.

More and more people appreciate my writing (and most of the time, I make sure it is generally accessible without too much "education"), which doesn't even mean that all my articles are good. The human intellect is not complex enough to process real life, which is an open system and it includes the person's experience of his/her self. By default, all I can do is conjecture and try to restore a 100-piece jigsaw puzzle out of 8-10 pieces. I am lucky, because I can think deductively as well as inductively, whereas 95% of humanity nearly exclusively rely on induction (progressing from the parts toward the whole, which is cognitively impossible for the aforementioned reason). However, I have to be cautious not to start from the whole picture as a basis for communication, because many people think I am sounding off with generalities. Needless to say, I don't always succeed. :)

And thank you for your kind and honest reply.

I'm just sorry about having stirred up a lot of emotions yesterday (and you warned me in time! :) ) without a clear, demonstrable, and doable objective. I've been trying to figure out how to fix it, but I am behind every word I said, so it wouldn't be honest to completely withdraw. Surely, I won't carry on with a discussion that would take too long to get anyone anywhere. Shouldn't have started it to begin with. My bad.

Let me encourage you to go back to all my posts on my site (they are brief and to the point most of the time); most of them are about stuff that affect everyone and the points I make are not going to be obsolete anytime soon.

Will do.

I am drowning in a sea of 'blue' here and have in my circle exactly 2 people I can converse with.
