Old people are being transported in carts. Some of them are completely without things (burned down in a fire). I was struck by a woman who had nothing but a cat basket. The quiet, trembling cat didn't even meow.

We see a small group: a grandmother in a wheelchair being pushed by a girl and a boy, a man and a woman. Obviously family. Right at the post at the grandmother's head leans back. Dead! A serviceman tries to feel the pulse, but too late. The heart-breaking cries of loved ones.

Don't film! the girl screams. - Be human!

I remove the camera.

Why was all this? the girl sobs. - I didn't save my grandmother!

The man bends over the still-warm body and senselessly pulls it: "Mom, mom!" From that moment on, he behaves like a robot following orders.

Question: what to do with the body? A determined young woman, who is clearly waiting for someone from the city, says:

Put grandma in my car. I'll take her to the hospital. It's close here.

The body is carefully seated and fastened. The girl leaves with the dead body. The family, stunned with grief, is taken to the hospital by French journalists.

A young woman, who took the body of someone else's grandmother, returns peers tensely into the distance, and suddenly shouts:

Mama, I am here. Where is dad?

He stayed, - the gray-haired old woman shouts in response. He said he would die at home.

The woman is crying:

How so?! How can I be without my dad?!

At the checkpoint, a man who came out with his family is hysterical:

They (Azov) don't let people come out, they shoot you point-blank! The 152 howitzer drives up to the entrance and fires anywhere. In residential areas! Now our house is on fire, neighboring houses are on fire. At the Solnechny market, all high-rise buildings were shot at, snipers were sitting there. They tried to bring out a neighbor with bullet wounds, and I tried to save my father-in-law. The neighbor was shot dead. Who was shooting? There is a base of the battalion "Azov" *. They drive around and pound, pound from roaming mortars when people go out for food or water.

His wife Inga cries:

There are still about two hundred people left in our building. Afraid to go out. We drank meltwater, filtered through gauze. What is going on?!
