Seems to me that all of these bad guys have created the greatest magic trick in history to continue to try and fool us all. Now we see it, now we don’t. I wonder if we will ever figure out how they really did it.

I think it will take decades to unravel this unholy mess. There are problems with the Civil Service however, they have been on austerity measures since 2010. The clever sausages the Civil Service has usually attracted with no problem are now leaving to go work for EDF et al as the pay 2-3k more now than the Civil Service, and the ASOS vouchers just isn't covering the cost of living crisis.
So whilst everyone is carping on about the MHRA being 85% funded by the pharmaceutical industry, the tories get voted in again and again as it appears they are dealing with debts. When all they have done is privatised the NHS by stealth and most government departments went up the shitter when Blair brought in Schwab's 'Stakeholder Capitalism' in '97. If anything is to be salvaged from our democracies, we have to fund central government from UK Coffers, which includes the stinking regulators.
