If all these thousands of drugs invented over the last 70 years were worth more than a basket of cow flop, the improvements of the health of 100's of millions of people would be accelerating, not declining. There is so little scientific validation that any drugs should be a part of healthy living and therefore lifestyle is much more pertinent.
Exactly what I was thinking, they should be the very last resort. We look for the easy option but it often comes at a high price, I found that out the hard way. The very best thing I did was come off my proton pump inhibitors and statins I now exercise daily, have lost weight and I am healthier in my sixties than I was in my 50s. It is never too late for someone to improve their health.
