To my knowledge the U.S. stands alone in this policy, but children who are born in the U.S. to a non-citizen mother (born outside the U.S.) - whether the mother is here legally or illegally - becomes an American citizen (and arguably becomes a slave via the birth certificate…a whole other subject).
The obstetrical office I’m in is full of immigrants on Medicaid. The one pregnant woman, commutes from Albanian , another from Yemen , another from Pakistan . All have had children at this practice but somehow they are on Medicaid but not citizens and must come from money to fly back and forth. I don’t know the answer , or how to fix it but something is not right. How do they get through security at the airport? Also , at the hospital, if an immigrant delivers with no insurance, the hospital can back bill and get Medicaid to pay for the delivery. This was never done years ago , and the hospital took a loss on the delivery. Something has changed dramatically.
Ma'am you are confused with the details. Medicaid is a state insurance. If you move to another state, you have to pay for that Medicaid program. Each state can have their own criteria, such as income level.
So to say that pregnant women from 3 countries are flying in for ob appointments, no ma'am.

Wow. Thanks for this clarification. Here I thought Speaker Johnson was finally doing something right by attaching SAVE Act to spending bill. Now I understand this Act does nothing but harm us. Why can’t Congress issue a clean clear concise bill that would be easily understood and passed that would actually protect and benefit our voting rights as citizens and help curtail fraud.
Show me the specific language of the save act that gives citizenship to illegals born here ie beware of this articles obvious bias and the writers liberal agenda. She decrys the article 5 constitutional assy of states, which is a path out of our deep state Dem quagmire, then demonizes Chip Roy with obvious liberal, tear down tactics. Just watch Mr. Roy address congress and you know he is a conservative patriot, despises big gov and hates their overreach. Quite opposite of what this biased article says.
So, after reading this, it tells me that just because Kamala was born here, to a parent from Jamaica and a parent from India, neither US citizens, that she would not be eligible to run for President of the United States States of America and is illegally the Vice President…, what say you?
