FDA activity and drug approval has been so corrupt and discredited for so long to so many, that it serves as a warning label for alert and skeptical people. I think an increasing number of doctors are hesitant to Rx the newer drugs because of the tainted quid pro quo processes by which they are approved. The truer test of a drug is time. If a drug hasn't been recalled or otherwise found to create new injuries over years of use since its release , then it may be safe enough to prescribe.
Why are the FDA people getting by the drug companies. I thought the government pays for their salaries. If the drug company paid for the FDA salaries it makes sense that the the drug company controls the FDA.
No, the idea that the FDA is a regulator is merely a pretense. The FDA is an enabler for Big Pharma, funded by Big Pharma and riddled with conflicts of interest. The CDC is similar. The CDC is a vaccine business masquerading as a regulator and public health authority.

Brings to mind the last FDA lapproved Alzheimer drug with very low benefit and extremely costly. Likely a money laundry con for stakeholders using medicare approval and financial markets.
