Yikes. I experienced some form of ocular occlusion in 1996, losing all central vision in my left eye for some time. There was a peculiar circular light pattern there instead, kind of like a star. It faded over a period of days and weeks, but my central vision was left full of "holes" -- black spots that did not respond to light. My brain had to adapt to using the image from the other eye to fill in what was missing.

The ophthalmologist called it "a stroke in the eye". It involved the left ocular nerve and the blood vessels running through it, which is different from what is described here. I can read using that eye again now, even when covering the other eye, but healing took more than two decades. This is not good.

This exact thing happened to my dad after he got the first booster in October 2021...I don't know the exact timing because my parents didn't even tell me about it until weeks after it happened, but I was able to determine that it was between 2 and 4 weeks post vax. The crazy part is, he is on blood thinners (warfarin) due to atrial fibrillation! Both of them are on anticoagulants and honestly, I think that's probably what has saved them from a worse fate!

Unfortunately, both of my parents drank the koolaid and dutifully lined up to be jabbed. I'm not sure if they've had any boosters other than the first one; I stopped asking because it was just so frustrating. They are so brainwashed and close-minded that it is futile to try and tell them anything that goes against the mainstream narrative. Every now and then I will say things to my mom because she is more willing to listen than my dad is, but she still refuses to believe most of what I tell her. I didn't even bother trying to tell them that my dad's eye issue was likely due to the vax...I've pretty much given up because all it does is cause tension and arguments (or my mom ends up crying and then I feel guilty).

wonder if there is some connection to vitamin A (retinol) to damaged retina's during vax?

ggenereux.blog and @nutridetect on twitter might have useful insights.

Is this diagnosis similar to a glaucoma diagnosis?

Expand full comment

No. Glaucoma is usually from the front of the eye when the pressure builds up too much because the fluid cannot exit the eye. It then puts pressure on the optic nerve and damages the peripheral vision first which is why it’s called a thief of vision. Most people don’t notice it until a lot of damage has been done. In this way it does damage the retina, but a vein or artery occlusion happens very quickly and kills retinal cells. A vein occlusion causes swelling of the retina and the leaking into tissue and nerve cells can do more damage.

Most glaucomas are easily treated if caught early, a retinal occlusion can only be treated to prevent further damage especially vein occlusions. Once the cells are dead they stay that way.

Sorry if this isn’t clear. My brain doesn’t work well in the morning.
