My cat got myocarditis and I’m wondering if it was from her rabies vaccine. She is on heart meds and sees a heart specialist now. The doctor says her heart is improving and actually shrinking back to normal, but when we tried to reduce her meds, she started having problems again. Ask your vet if they are giving mRNA shots before you get your pet vaccinated.

Oh , I’m so sorry C Anderson! Poor fella😢

We have four beautiful cats we take very good care of. We decided we’re not jabbing them for anything anymore and I feel better about it. It’s all BS!

When our vet couldn’t even tell us what’s in them I decided we were done with this!

I kinda knew that but I wanted her opinion and facial expression. And I got it by the way she said it…she didn’t care.

Our orange tabby died about two years ago and he was perfectly healthy. Just a beautiful, loving cat and was in better shape than the others. After looking in his vet records, he was the last one jabbed with all of his shots! That woke me up about vets and shots. They are no different than the doctors that lie to their patients about shots. It’s all about money! We know this now so why wouldn’t it be all about money in the veterinarian business?

I mean really…a shot for cancer when they don’t have cancer…give me a Fing break! Sound familiar these days?

We have always buried our beloved animals old or sick but never healthy, beautiful animals.

Look, we sit out back on our farm and we have no regrets about this decision WHATSOEVER!

And while out back in the evening, we toast 🍷 about it with a clear conscience and our cats seem to be just fine!

Besides, the TRAUMA the cats go through to take them to and from is gone! Just imagine what that does to their little bodies🧐!

So true! Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I can see your decision to be carefully considered and the right thing to do. 🙏 Thank you!

You’re welcome! Animals are like little babies…innocent🙏

We need boarding scenarios that do not require rabies and jxx's.

They'll lie! No vet can be trusted either. And I'm sorry for your cat 😢

I got my ivm from a vet.

The rabies vxx lasts 10 years approximately. Titers can be done to test the amount of jxx left in the body. The life expectancy of dogs has decreased, just like humans. All due to jxx's. Even spay, neutering, causes dis-ease, as it removes 2/3 of the endocrine system. There are other ways that are not so harmful, I have read, but they don't teach that in vet school.

Forget about non-essential vaccines for cats, the less the better. I wouldn't worry too much about rabies. If the meds work, no reason to change. If one of my cats had myocarditis, i'd try curcuma, or "cat's claw", to manage the inflammation.
