The Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh will cease to exist from January 1, 2024. President of the unrecognized republic Samvel Shahramanyan signed a decree dissolving all state institutions. In the decree, Shahramanyan referred to the difficult military-political situation that has arisen.

Ukraine asked West to strike Iran and Syria – Guardian

Kiev was reportedly willing to conduct missile attacks on both nations if its Western backers supplied “the necessary means of destruction”

The Ukrainian government urged its Western backers last month to conduct missile strikes on drone factories in Iran and Syria, even offering to launch the attacks itself if given the weapons to do so, according to a document seen by The Guardian.

The document in question was handed to G7 governments by Ukrainian officials in August, the British newspaper reported on Wednesday. In it, the Ukrainians claimed that kamikaze drones used by Russian forces are built by Iranian manufacturers in Iran and Syria, and contain Western components.

Kremlin Reacts To US M1 Abrams Tanks Entering Ukraine: "They Too Will Burn"

The Kremlin has responded to widespread reports from Ukraine that Kiev has received its first deliveries of American M1 Abrams battle tanks. Ukrainian officials have hailed that the tanks will help their forces punch through stalemated front lines.

Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said "they too will burn" - in reference to prior instances of Western tanks being taken out, such as German Leopards and UK Challenger 2 tanks. "All this can in no way affect the essence of the special military operation, its outcome," Peskov explained. "There is no panacea, no single weapon that can change the balance of power on the battlefield."

A major Ukrainian ammunition stockpile has been destroyed by a high-precision air strike in Kherson Region, the Russian Defense Ministry has said.

The depot, located near the village of Kiselyovka, was hit by a cruise missile on Monday. The stockpile contained over 3,000 tons of ammunition, according to the Russian military’s estimates.

Russia accuses Ukraine’s Western allies of helping attack its Black Sea Fleet headquarters

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Russia on Wednesday accused Ukraine’s Western allies of helping plan and conduct last week’s missile strike on the Black Sea Fleet’s headquarters on the annexed Crimean Peninsula.

“There is no doubt that the attack had been planned in advance using Western intelligence means, NATO satellite assets and reconnaissance planes and was implemented upon the advice of American and British security agencies and in close coordination with them,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing.

The most recent edition of the US Army War College’s academic journal includes a highly disturbing essay on what lessons the US military should take away from the continuing war in Ukraine. By far the most concerning and most relevant section for the average American citizen is a subsection entitled “Casualties, Replacements, and Reconstitutions” which, to cut right to the chase, directly states, “Large-scale combat operations troop requirements may well require a reconceptualization of the 1970s and 1980s volunteer force and a move toward partial conscription.”

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Wednesday issued formal apology to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky over what's coming to be known as the 'NaziGate' scandal. He indicated that this apology was sent through diplomatic channels. 

Trudeau confirmed this in a press conference regarding the House of Commons' honoring a veteran of Adolf Hitler's Nazi forces as part of last week's events centered on hosting Zelensky. "This was a mistake that has deeply embarrassed Parliament and Canada. All of us who were in this House on Friday regret deeply having stood and clapped even though we did so unaware of the context," Trudeau told reporters.

Moscow is considering launching a probe into potential war crimes by Yaroslav Hunka, celebrated in Ottawa as a Ukrainian “hero”

Moscow may request the extradition of Yaroslav Hunka, a 98-year-old Ukrainian-Canadian veteran of the Waffen SS, Russia’s envoy to Ottawa, Oleg Stepanov, suggested on Wednesday.

“Russia is reviewing the Hunka story. May open a criminal case and subsequent extradition request,” the diplomat said in a statement.

An airline passenger in Mexico reported he encountered "Mandatory Contact-Tracing" when he arrived at the airport in Puerto Vallarta (PVR), Mexico, and found he could not even begin the flight "Check-in process until he complied with the contact tracing.

Artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT can now search the internet on its own, parent company OpenAI announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday.

“ChatGPT can now browse the internet to provide you with current and authoritative information, complete with direct links to sources,” the company wrote in a thread on the platform, explaining that the wildly popular chatbot was “no longer limited to data before September 2021” thanks to integration with Microsoft’s Bing search engine.
