The shots have killed and maimed, the wokeness has weakened the minds, a good percentage of the service members are unfit (overweight and physically unable to lift a stick let alone carry a weapon and run for cover), the equipment is antiquated and the ammunition stores have been depleted via proxy wars, and now they are supposed to go fight on a number of fronts? This administration and the war mongers on both sides have gone completely insane. We, as a nation, are solidly marching into our own demise. And those who think this won't reach our soil might want to think again, and whatever you do, if you have firearms, don't give them up, and if you don't have any, get some. When the 💩ultimately hits the fan, no one will ride in to defend you; you will have to defend yourself.
So far, I think there are sufficient special forces military personnel to do the neocon's worst business, adding in that MI6 and Mossad will be able to help. That said, if we had to rely on our military personnel in a major air/ground conflict that involved significant forces, we would see how bad our military forces have deteriorated. All depends on the enemy; i.e., we could prevail against poorly-coordinated and trained enemies; we could not win against an well-organized and trained army, IMO.
Fighting on multiple fronts - Iran, Taiwan, the Phillipines, and NATO (Ukraine) spreads our forces (even Special Forces) pretty thin. Our Armed Forces have massive recruiting and retention problems not to speak of the quality of soldiers who are signing up and are on duty. Want to have a soldier in the trenches with you whose deployment depends on availability of hormone treaments? Want to have a pilot flying that F-35 fighter jet or whatever helicopter who has just had their 6th Covid booster and mandatory flu and covid combined shot? Want to have the infantry soldier next to you who can't move out because "they" won't follow orders unless you use the proper pronoun to address "them"? How about the service member who can't move because he or she is so physically unfit their legs just can't carry them? And then add the drug and alcohol problems...
Perhaps it's what this administration is counting on to place the blame for whatever happens on the inability of our armed forces to cope with the onslaught (or should I say slaughter) that's sure to ensue. I don't know about you, but I have three children in that fight, all fit and dedicated, and my entire family is a family of service.
