This was very interesting. I know that many people have had sightings all over the US of large tall hairy beings that inhabit wooded areas. I had an unusual experience in a waterfowl refuge along the Illinois river a few years ago when I was walking along a trail taking photos of flowering prairie plants. I felt like someone was watching me and it gave me the creeps because I knew that I was the only person in that area. I then smelled the distinctive scent of an animal but I was out in the open and no animal was in sight. There was a heavily wooded area adjacent to where I was
walking and I again felt like something was watching me from that area and I distinctly felt like I was in danger and needed to hike out asap. I had over a mile of walking as fast as possible to get back to my car. A few years later a Sasquatch was sighted in that area.
