Credit Suisse Bank Announces Sale of Assets Worth Over $3Bln
MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Switzerland's Credit Suisse bank announced Thursday the sale of a number of its assets in the form of debt securities in euros and dollars worth more than $3 billion.
"Credit Suisse also announces today that it is making a cash tender offer in relation to ten US dollar denominated senior debt securities for an aggregate consideration of up to USD 2.5 billion. Concurrently, Credit Suisse is also announcing a separate cash tender offer in relation to four Euro denominated senior debt securities for an aggregate consideration of up to EUR 500 million," the bank's press release read.

Credit Suisse shares jumped 40%, most on record, at the European open after the lender tapped the Swiss National Bank for as much as 50 billion francs and offered to repurchase debt, but have since trimmed gains in half amid speculation confirming our skeptical view voiced last night that the bailout would be insufficient. The shares fell 24% on Wednesday after its top shareholder ruled out a bigger investment.

The Pentagon has released a video, which it said was shot from a US MQ-9 Reaper drone during a close encounter with a Russian Su-27 fighter jet, after which the American aircraft plunged into the Black Sea earlier this week.
The 50-second clip provided to the media shows an interceptor plane approaching the drone from behind and apparently ejecting fuel as it climbs.

U.N. nuclear watchdog says 2.5 tons of uranium is missing from Libyan site
At least 2.5 tons of natural uranium has gone missing from an uncontrolled site in Libya, Reuters reported Wednesday.
The news was revealed to Reuters in a statement from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) — the United Nations' nuclear watchdog group. The IAEA told the outlet that "10 drums containing approximately 2.5 tons of natural uranium previously declared by [Libya] ... as being stored at that location were not present at the location."

Keep your eye on Israel, because events of historic significance could happen soon
I would encourage all of us to watch Israel very carefully in the coming days, because I believe that we could soon see some incredible events take place. In particular, I am specifically watching for a couple of things.
Rumors of an imminent war between Israel and Iran are starting to reach a crescendo, and I am entirely convinced that such a conflict could potentially erupt this year. Also, I am closely watching for an announcement about the discovery of the Ark of the Covenant. Needless to say, such an announcement would be the greatest archaeological bombshell in history.
