Israel-Hamas war in Gaza could take months, IDF chief admits
He said the IDF must ramp up its dominance in southern Gaza, where Khan Younis is the new focal point, and also make sure it addresses Hamas in central Gaza.
IDF Chief-of-Staff Lt.-Gen. Herzi Halevi on Tuesday said that it could even take months to arrest or kill Hamas's top leaders and "many months" to finish fighting Hamas. Halevi implied that he recognized the broader diplomatic and political context will not allow a full all-out war for that long and said that the IDF would adjust itself to different intensity levels of fighting as needed.

In a statement, US CENTCOM said the USS Laboon, a guided-missile destroyer, and F-18 fighter jets from the Eisenhower carrier strike group were involved in the effort to down 12 one-way attack drones, three anti-ship ballistic missiles, and two land attack cruise missiles in the southern Red Sea that were fired by the Houthis over a 10-hour period.

Dwindling aid from West, total mobilization and economic collapse: How Ukraine’s 2024 is looking
Waning Western support, heavy losses and lack of battlefield gains have apparently hugely dented the hopes of Kiev and its backers
Ukraine is heading towards 2024 with mounting battlefield casualties, a lack of tangible military progress, the now-official failure of its counteroffensive efforts, its ever-widening conscription drive, as well as a shrinking flow of financial and military aid from its Western backers. The country’s prospects for the next year now look rather grim, with what were once the most ardent supporters of Kiev now apparently unsure whether aid to the country locked in a nearly two-year conflict with Russia should continue.

Britain's Net Zero Disaster & The Wind Power Scam
“This is not about complicated issues of cryptocurrency,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Nicolas Roos declared in the Sam Bankman-Fried trial, after accusing the defendant of building FTX on a “pyramid of deceit.” Much the same can be said about the foundations of Britain’s net-zero experiment. Energy is complicated, and electricity is essential to modern society and our quality of life, but as with FTX, the underlying story is straightforward: Wind power and net zero are built on a pyramid of deceit.

Banks Terminate 60,000 Workers In One Of The Bleakest Years For The Industry Since 2008
The collapse of three US regional banks - First Republic Bank, Silicon Valley Bank, and Signature Bank - marked some of the largest failures in the banking system since 2008. Central banks contained the "mini-crisis" earlier this year with forced interventions and the mega-merger of Credit Suisse and UBS. Despite the interventions, global banks still axed the most jobs since the global financial crisis.
A new report from the Financial Times shows twenty of the world's largest banks slashed 61,905 jobs in 2023, a move to protect profit margins in a period of high interest rates amid a slump in dealmaking and equity and debt sales. This compared with the 140,000 lost during the GFC of 2007-08.

The robot had pinned the man, who was then programming software for two disabled Tesla robots nearby, before sinking its metal claws into the worker’s back and arm, leaving a ‘trail of blood’ along the factory surface.
Dr. Matthew Wielicki: I Refuse to Stay Silent about Climate Change
When Dr. Matthew Wielicki refused to stay silent about climate change and earth science, he became a professor-in-exile. Even though members of the scientific community routinely discuss the negative effects of irrational fear in private, they dare not speak out lest they lose their positions and research funds. Dr. Wielicki shares his story and encourages the next generation to reject the doomsday narrative and maintain hope for the future.
IMO, there's a lot of predictive programming going on as we move into 2024. The black swan event will be a cyberattack that will be blamed on a foreign actor (the set-up via media and Hollywood is pretty clear if one pays attention), and then all hell will break lose and the end result will be to "rebuild" (you know to "build back better") and usher in the digital currency with social credit system attached and a whole lot less useless eaters in the world. But what do I know? That's just my prediction for 2024.
Only 17 at the border …. 🤔….. try thousands . Thanku Lioness for bringing attention and awareness to the world around us .
