President Biden had pleaded for Congress to pass the $111 billion proposal
A spending package proposed by the White House, that included over $60 billion in funding for Kiev, failed to pass in the Senate on Wednesday, falling short of the 60 votes necessary to proceed.
The final vote was 49 in favor and 51 against; the Republican opposition voted against the bill alongside Senator Bernie Sanders, a Vermont independent who normally votes with the Democrats. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a New York Democrat, also voted “no” so he could bring the bill up again at a later date, according to The Hill.

US lawmakers have been debating a $111 billion supplemental spending package that would include $61 billion for Kiev, along with funding for Israel, Taiwan, and US border security.
Volodymyr Zelensky failed to prepare Ukraine properly for the war with Russia and will “pay for his mistakes,” warned Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
The former heavyweight boxing champion made the comments to Swiss news outlet 20 Minuten.
Klitschko was asked if he was surprised to see Zelensky’s popularity declining across the country. “No. People see who is effective and who is not, and there were and are many expectations. Zelensky is paying for the mistakes he made,” he responded.

The Israel Defense Forces’ 98th Division, which includes the Commando Brigade and other special forces, launched a raid of Khan Yunis, Hamas’s stronghold in southern Gaza, IDF Spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari announced on Wednesday evening, adding that Hamas was surprised by the raid.
“Within a few hours, the soldiers pierced through the defensive lines of the [Hamas] Khan Yunis Brigade, encircling it, and for the first time began to operate in the heart of the area.
‘There is only one force that can see to this demilitarization – and that force is the IDF.’
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a press conference on Tuesday said that the IDF, and not an international force, will ensure the demilitarization of Gaza after the war.
“I want to say an additional word about ‘the day after Hamas’: Gaza must be demilitarized. And in order for Gaza to be demilitarized, there is only one force that can see to this demilitarization – and that force is the IDF.”
Eli Cohen says Antonio Guterres’ term a ‘danger to world peace’ in tweet lashing UN chief for letter on Gaza to Security Council under Article 99 of UN Charter, in 1st since 1989
Israel’s foreign minister accused United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres of supporting Palestinian terror group Hamas, called for his resignation, and said his tenure as head of the world body was “a danger to world peace,” in a furious reaction on Wednesday to a letter Guterres wrote pressing for an immediate ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas and his invocation of a rare clause in the UN charter to urge Security Council intervention.
If Iran ever needed to divert the world’s attention away from its progress towards weapon-grade nuclear capability, this opportunity has been provided by the Israel Gaza war. However, the war is not risk-free for the Ayatollahs. An escalation on the Lebanese front could unleash an Israeli onslaught on Hezbollah and even serve as a springboard for attacking Iran itself. But meanwhile, behind the scenes, Iran’s fissile material keeps accumulating, cooperation with the IAEA remains minimal and it’s ties with Russia, being reliant on Iranian weapons for the Ukraine war, appear to be strengthening.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr., expressed concern about the potential invasion of Taiwan by communist China, stating that Americans "should be worried."
When asked about the possibility of such an invasion during an interview at the Reagan National Defense Forum on Dec. 2, Gen. Brown pointed to Hong Kong as an example, stating: "Just think about what happened in Hong Kong. ... We all should be worried whether it's going to happen or not. And part of the reason why deterrence is so important is so that conflict does not occur."
OTTAWA (LifeSiteNews) – Canadians learned last Wednesday from MPs that “yes,” the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) operated police “stations” in multiple locations in Canada, which allegedly serve to target its citizens abroad, but no one has been held accountable yet for allowing this to happen.
As per Blacklock’s Reporter, the Special Committee on Canada-China Relations noted in a report to Parliament titled Chinese Communist Party’s Overseas Police Service Stations that despite the CCP “police service stations” operating in three major Canadian cities, there have been “no arrests” made.
The Polish central bank has bought roughly 300 tonnes of gold in recent years to bring its gold to GDP ratio in line with the average in the eurozone. For medium and large economies in the eurozone, to which Poland might be included in the future, an equal monetary gold to GDP ratio is a covert requirement for nations to be prepared for a shift to a new gold standard. Based on these requirements I expect Poland to buy an additional 130 tonnes of gold.
While stocks in India make new all-time highs, investors in Chinese stocks are staring down a dismal year of losses. In fact, equities from the world’s No. 2 economy have hardly ever traded at such a deep discount to emerging-market peers.
There’s no shortage of negative headlines in China these days. Moody’s Investors Service’s downgrade of China’s credit outlook this week is just another example, underlying the nation’s structural problems of a heady debt load, an aging population and a decline in the potential growth rate.

Official FDA approval could help force insurance plans to approve cross-sex hormones and lead to courts striking down bans on chemically 'transitioning' minors.
(LifeSiteNews) — The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has expressed interest in a proposed clinical trial pertaining to “transgender” hormone use, potentially indicating future formal approval of yet another method of the controversial chemical procedures. Politico reports that the nonprofit Research Institute for Gender Therapeutics (RIGT) says it received promising feedback from the FDA on its proposal for a Phase III clinical trial on the use of the estrogen variant estradiol for certain seekers of so-called “gender-affirming care,” including adults and “some adolescents of reproductive age.” RIGT’s trial would begin in 2025.
As of three years ago when Joe Biden took over as president, your citizenship no longer means zilch. Biden or his handers have engineered the largest invasion of any country in the history of the world. As of 35 months ago, Biden invited 8,000,000 illegal aliens from over 100 countries to breach our borders. Islamic terrorists enjoy free access to our country. Even the FBI Chief Wray said we stand at the highest level of terrorist threats, ever.

Google on Wednesday debuted its new Gemini generative AI model. The platform serves as Google’s answer to Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI’s GPT-4, and according to DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis, it’s the company’s “most capable and general model” yet.
Gemini is what is referred to as a natively multimodal model, meaning it can analyze text, audio, video, images, and code. While other multimodal offerings exist, Google says Gemini stands apart because the model was designed to take all of those mediums into account from the beginning.
We have seen all of this before: a time of ignorance and pseudo-science that rebuked reason and persecuted those who questioned or disagreed with the official narrative.
