Software and hardware incompatibilities. Platform incompatibilities. Catastrophic data loss. Planned obsolescence. And the damned things can't be counted on to work reliably for 30 consecutive seconds. So don't get too worked up over the wonders of AI... And if it looks like "Artificial Sentience" is happening? Take a sledgehammer to it. IMMEDIATELY.
