Ex-Russian president calls for ‘complete’ dismantling of ‘Kiev regime’

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has called for the “complete dismantling” of the “Kiev regime,” as well as for inflicting “mass destruction” on the country’s military personnel and hardware. 

Medvedev, who currently serves as deputy chair of Russia’s National Security Council, made the remarks in a Telegram post on Friday, commenting on an interview Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky recently gave to several Nordic media outlets.

A Ukrainian artillery strike in Russia’s Bryansk region early Sunday morning left at least two people dead and several others injured, with multiple houses damaged and destroyed, according to local Governor Aleksandr Bogomaz. 

The Ukrainian armed forces targeted a village in the Suzemsky district located some 10km from the border shortly after midnight, the governor said in a Telegram post.

Moscow is furious after on Saturday Polish police reportedly raided a Russian school attached to the Russian embassy in Warsaw and took it over. School staff were then given hours to pack up their things and vacate the building, according to RIA Novosti, following local authorities bursting into the grounds using a crow bar.

Polish Foreign Ministry spokesman Lukasz Jasina said the state was enforcing a court ruling over the building building which says it was "illegally leased by the Russian embassy for years." Thus Poland is asserting that the building and school isn't protected under diplomatic status, which Moscow disputes.

The footage shows navy commandos masked while instigating a helicopter-borne assault on the ship in the Gulf Of Oman.

Iran has justified the ship’s seizure, claiming that the tanker collided with an Iranian ship. According to Daily Mail, as of now, they have not provided evidence to bolster their claim. Some believe the ships are being taken so Iran can use them to bargain.

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh is expected to visit Iran soon to discuss “political and field developments,” Hamas announced on Friday.

A Wisconsin train derailment on Thursday sent two cars into the Mississippi River and left four people injured.

The Burlington Northern and Santa Fe freight train derailed shortly after noon on a rail line that runs along the bank of the river,  according to the LaCrosse Tribune.

According to 8 News Now, The speculation spreads. Often, the bright glow can be traced to parachute flares and perhaps aviation training of some sort.
