Other states can request help, but some leaders say more capacity is needed.
At least 14 states have spun up their National Guard units to ward off cyber attacks on the national election that concludes tomorrow, but others have not.
North Carolina is one of the states that has.
“This year, we're in place to ensure that if there's any assistance that's needed, we're working proactively with our state board of elections, not just on the day of elections, but really prior to to do security analysis checks and look into the network to make sure it's as secure as possible,” Maj. Gen. Marvin Hunt, adjutant general for North Carolina’s National Guard, told reporters Friday. “We're really that third party that comes in—it's just assisting them—to give them a different look. So that on election day, we can all have confidence in our election systems.”A
Ukraine Openly Rejects Reported White House Pressure To Negotiate
Ukraine's leadership has responded to a weekend Washington Post report which said the White House has been privately urging the Ukrainian government to show openness toward negotiations with Russia. The report called these efforts part of "a calculated attempt to ensure the government in Kyiv maintains the support of other nations facing constituencies wary of fueling a war for many years to come." It also cited "Ukraine fatigue" among the Western voting public.

A broken portion of an engraving on a limestone tablet the size of your palm (see photo below) is adding yet further confirmation to the biblical account and giving a new twist on how Israel’s kings saw themselves.
The partial inscription engraved in ancient Hebrew letters was originally reported in 2008, but was not deciphered until recently. The letters on the inscription are only fragments of words, with the rest of the letters having been broken off. When found, the artifact was near an ancient man-made pool together with pottery shards dating to the 8th century BC. However, at the time the Israel Antiquities Authority did not make a conclusive connection between the inscription, King Hezekiah and the pool.
