UN issues ‘alarming’ food security outlook
Costs of imports will continue to soar across the globe due to higher prices, it warns
The world food import bill is estimated to rise to $1.94 trillion this year, higher than previously expected, according to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
In its latest report released on Friday, the FAO said this would mark an all-time high and a 10% increase over the record level of 2021, although the pace of the increase is expected to slow in response to higher world food prices and currencies depreciating against the US dollar. Both weigh on the purchasing power of importing countries and, subsequently, on the volumes of imported food, it said.

Hungary and Türkiye should stop blocking the ratification of Finland and Sweden’s membership of NATO, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said on Thursday, adding that there is a “crystal clear basis” for allowing the two Nordic nations to join the military bloc.
Ankara and Budapest have been delaying the process, with Türkiye pointing to concerns about Sweden and Finland’s alleged support of Kurdish “terrorism,” while Hungary claims it will vote on the issue after it resolves a number of disagreements with the EU.

Iran has just built a hypersonic weapon that can fly five times the speed of sound, move in and out of the atmosphere and strike advanced anti-missile systems
Iran claims to have developed a hypersonic missile that is unstoppable by all current anti-air defences. General Amirali Hajizadeh, head of the IRGC’s aerospace unit, said Thursday that Tehran now possesses a ballistic missile that moves at ‘high speed and can manoeuvre in and out of the atmosphere’ – making it harder to shoot down. General Hajizadeh said the missile is designed to target enemy anti-air systems and is a ‘generational leap’ forward in terms of Tehran’s military technology.

Loan Demand For Mortgage Loans Crashes To Depression Levels
In all the chaos over the past few days, we missed the release of the Fed’s latest Senior Loan Officer Survey which came out Monday. The results were striking: as one would expect from an economy in recession (and in some cases, depression), in nearly all categories, banks are reporting both tighter lending standards and sliding demand for new loans...

Democracy Dies in Climate Panic
The United Nations is one of the most sacred political cows in the liberal media. This is especially true when they convene the global elites on the perils of "climate change." The latest confab in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, began with the usual appeal to fear and panic from U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, formerly known as the Socialist Party prime minister of Portugal.

Pfizer profits from COVID vaccines and treatments, reaping almost $100 billion in sales
The pharmaceutical company Pfizer is reported to have grossed nearly $100 billion from its sales of COVID-19 vaccines and treatments, and has recently announced it plans to triple or quadruple the price once it hits the commercial market next year.
Pfizer announced in October that they would start charging $110 to $130 a shot once the government contracts run out.
With considerable help from the federal government, Pfizer is urging people in the United States to get booster shots and is using their marketing to push that, despite there being debate and discussion about whether or not the first COVID shots actually worked.

Ontario man says hospital pressuring him into assisted suicide
A man in Ontario claims that he is being pushed by hospital staff to end his life rather than continue receiving treatment.
Roger Foley suffers from cerebellar ataxia, a disease that attacks the brain and muscles, and has been bedridden for six years. The 47-year-old requires continual help in order to eat, wash and sit up.
“They asked if I want an assisted death. I don’t. I was told that I would be charged $1,800 per day [for hospital care]. I have $2 million worth of bills." he told the New York Post. "Nurses here told me that I should end my life. That shocked me.”
Alberta appeal court refuses organ transplant for dying, unvaccinated woman
On Tuesday, the court ruled that a doctor’s medical judgment cannot violate another’s Charter rights.
“The charter does not apply to the (doctors’) exercise of clinical judgments in formulating pre-conditions to organ transplant, including requiring vaccination against COVID-19 in the wake of the pandemic,” the judge said, as reported by the Calgary Herald. To get an organ transplant, doctors funded by Alberta Health Services told Sheila Lewis she must be vaccinated. The medical judgment was not written as a formal policy but was communicated to her verbally.
A doctor “told me if I did not take the COVID-19 vaccine, I would not get the transplant, and if I did not get the transplant, I would die,” Lewis said in July.

(Natural News) The leaders of America’s armed forces are breaking the law by patently denying service members’ requests for exemption from mandatory Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccination.”
Despite being required by law to evaluate each and every exemption request on an individual basis, the United States military, under the direction of the Pentagon (Pentagram), is using a computer program called the “Religious Accommodations Appeal Generator,” or RAGG, to strike down nearly 99 percent of them automatically, with no human assessment.
Vatican Chief Auditor Says He Was Raided And Forced Out For Digging Too Deep
The Vatican's former chief auditor, Libero Milone, says he was raided by gendarmes in June of 2017, after which he was accused of spying on top Vatican cardinals.
"Now you have to confess," they demanded, according to Milone, who says he signed resignation papers instead of face time in a Vatican jail, the NY Times reports.
Since his ouster, the Vatican - which has been plagued with financial (and pedophilia) scandals for decades - has attempted to clean up its act. Cardinal Giovanni Angelo Becciu - who Milone was accused of spying on (and, Milone believes, was behind his ouster), has himself been booted from his position by Pope Francis, and is now standing trial in the Vatican for embezzlement and abuse of office in connection with a shady $135 million London real estate deal.
