A Massachusetts derailment is the latest in a chain of train accidents in the US, with Norfolk Southern in the spotlight. The railroad operator was at the center of the February 3 disaster in East Palestine, Ohio, when toxic chemicals, like hydrogen chloride, phosgene, butyl acrylate and ethylene were released into the air raising cancer fears.
A Norfolk Southern train derailed in the US state of Massachusetts on March 23. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties as a result of the disaster, but Massachusetts authorities have advised the public to avoid the site of the calamity.

French authorities struggled on Thursday to suppress the protests against President Emmanuel Macron’s pension reform. Over a million demonstrators took to the streets across the country in what some security sources described as an “insurrection” against the government in Paris.
Tens of thousands of workers went on strike and protesters blocked public transportation, schools and oil refineries. Attempting to break up the protests, police used tear gas, water cannons, flash-bangs and batons. Videos making rounds on social media showed heavily armored officers clubbing unarmed demonstrators.

Soldiers of Ukraine’s ‘Thor’ special operations group are using satellite data provided by the CIA to choose targets when conducting drone strikes against Russian forces, the unit’s commander told The Times.
The 27-man group, which is formally a police special operations unit, functions independently from the Ukrainian army and works in close collaboration with the country's military intelligence, the GUR, which provides them with ammunition and intel.
Seymour Hersh: CIA Planted Nord Stream Cover-Up Story
Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh published an article on Substack on Wednesday that said the CIA was instructed to come up with a cover story for the Nord Stream bombings that was fed to The New York Times and the German newspaper Die Zeit.
The cover-up story was created to shift blame from the US after Hersh’s bombshell report published on February 8 that said President Biden ordered the attack on the Nord Stream natural gas pipelines, which connect Russia to Germany. "It was a total fabrication by American intelligence that was passed along to the Germans, and aimed at discrediting your story," Hersh was told by a source within the American intelligence community.
