Police say they’re treating the two explosions as a coordinated attack
One person was killed and more than a dozen others injured when two explosions rocked Jerusalem on Wednesday morning in what Israeli authorities suspect to be a coordinated terrorist attack.
The first blast occurred during the morning rush hour near the Central Bus Station in the city.
Medics say at least eleven people were injured, including two in a critical condition. A victim died later in hospital due to their wounds.

Kochavi held a series of meetings with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and CIA Director William Burns, the IDF said in a press release on Tuesday, noting that he discussed the “Iranian threat” with each of the officials he had spoken with since landing in the US on Sunday morning.

The European Union must cast aside all doubts about new anti-Russia sanctions and double down on slapping Moscow with new restrictions that would curb its missile industry, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said on Tuesday.
Speaking at a regular briefing, Kuleba urged the EU to speed up the work on its ninth sanctions package, which he described as long overdue. “We are only hearing about an attempt to start serious work on its preparation. Such a situation is totally unacceptable,” the minister said.
Germany Gives Poland Patriot Missiles To Defend Airspace
Less than a week following the errant Ukrainian missile fiasco which killed two people just inside the Polish border, but which was initially blamed on Russia, Poland has confirmed it will host a US-made Patriot air defense system on the Ukrainian border.
Bloomberg reported on Monday, "Germany will send Patriot missiles and fighter jets to Poland as part of an air-defense deal following a strike that raised fears of a significant escalation between NATO allies and Russia."

The jolt has left at least 22 people with injuries in a region east of Istanbul, officials said
A powerful 6.1-magnitude earthquake has rocked Türkiye’s northwestern Duzce province, injuring several people – including one said to be in serious condition – and knocking out electricity across the region.
The quake struck early on Wednesday morning and centered on the town of Golkaya, but was felt some 200 kilometers (125 miles) east in Istanbul, the capital city, according to Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency. The agency said the first quake was followed by at least 35 smaller aftershocks, triggering panic as many people rushed out of buildings in the earthquake-prone region.

This was a powerful earthquake and there is expected to be significant damage both in northwestern Mexico and southwestern California, USA.

A very strong and shallow earthquake, registered by the USGS as M7.0, hit the Solomon Islands at 02:03 UTC on November 22, 2022, at a depth of 15 km (9.3 miles). The quake was followed by M6.0 at 02:37 UTC at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles).
The epicenter was located 18.6 km (11.6 miles) SW of Malango (population 10 532), and 57.4 km (35.6 miles) SW of Honiara (population 56 298), Solomon Islands.
12 000 people are estimated to have felt very strong shaking, 180 000 strong, 78 000 moderate, and 214 000 light.
