Saskatchewan healthcare left my 95 year old relative on a gurney to die of shock after breaking her hip. She was strapping woman. They said it was the “circle of life!” This was 15 years ago and a wake up call.
Sorry to hear that. They did something similar to my Dad after he fell and broke his back asking him "what would you like us to do?" He was 91 and in great shape other than this fall. When the Dr. asked him this question, his answer was "nothing" so they prepared for him to die. This was 12 years ago and I feel responsible that I let them kill him. This also happened in Saskatchewan.
On the walls of the hospital were photos of 1970s hospital staff. A fleet of white-capped nurses. For a small(at that time) center which served an agricultural economy (1/4 section farms and town centers.) All gone. Funeral homes doing well.
Medical care became too expensive, and not much more effective.
That is horrid. Canadian Health Care has been smoke and mirrors for many decades. We have one of the lowest grade of health care on the planet but getting reassignment surgery is funded federally. Yippie, and now the best cost savings tool ever for health care is MAiD service. If it’s too costly they will kill you except if you want to transition.
I’ve already experienced the palliative care side of this. In 2020 I took my sons best friend in, he had a brain tumor. It was full on lockdown in Victoria Australia. He came at the end of January, and no palliative care staff were allowed to visit homes till the end of May and when they started to come the visits were every 2 weeks, support from the community based palliative care care service was minimal. As things progressed, it became quite clear you could only get a palliative care bed if you “promised” to be dead in 2 days. They are already dispensing with palliative care beds in this state. He passed away early February 2021. He. Spent less than 24 hours in a palliative care bed.

I imagine the government and big pharma is paying a doctor $5-10K for every person they murder. Once they murder you, there is no recourse unlike injuries from drugs and medical invasions of your body where you might recover. As usual, you are in good hands with the medical mafia.
