Because they knew it wouldn't get published if they said....Honestly, people can be such cowards. I bet the study authors do know...and left it out deliberately so they could get published.

But a quick search for lead author Jennifer Z. Liu also shows the career path from lowly dental researcher to the best epidemiologist that can be bought.
