I don't believe that a spherical earth is incompatible with the Bible. A flat earth defies all logic and reason. If I am to not use logic or reason, if I can't believe my lying eyes, then I need not seek out truth.
When you are reading the Bible, is context important? If you were to check any of the links you reference, would context be important? Did you check the links? Or did you just repost from a "trusted source"?
I struggled to find anything helpful. There were outdated links. The ones I got to work had very little to do with the Earth being flat. I dare say none of them were about the Earth being flat. The "flat Earth" assumption was likely in all cases for the sake of simplifying calculations. It was even admitted in one of the documents that they encountered a violation of this simplification: "The estimated phases of the reflection coefficients have a dependency on range. This may be caused by a violation of the assumption of the flat Earth model."
Nothing about a flat Earth is taken in proper context in this list of links. There is no explanation of how anything in any of these documents should be taken to mean that the government really thinks that the Earth is flat.
I never said it is FLAT , I never been high enough to see the shape of it for myself. But one thing is for sure: its NOT a flying spinning ball.,, I am not going to argue with you. Grace and piece
