When they tried to mandate the H1N1 “swine flu” vaccine in NY I was probably one of less than 100 protesters in Albany at the state Capitol building! The mandate never went through, not because of our protest, but because there wasn’t enough doses/money etc…to implement the plan! I knew they would never stop trying to experiment on us. The compromise later came in the form of ultimatums: vaccinate or mask up (this was for yearly flu shot), that year I was the only nurse in my ICU wearing a mask. So was I surprised for Covid vaccine mandates or compliance among healthcare workers? Not in the least bit! I was one of 2 nurses fired from my unit for refusing Covid vaccine! If healthcare workers don’t unite and walk out en masse…it will NEVER change! Sadly I’m not sure my profession ever will!

Everyone in Healthcare here in Australia is vaxxed to the eyeballs because of mandates. You cannot get a job unless you are vaxxed. I fear that we will see a shortage of Dr's and Nurses once the deaths start. I think we were late to start the vax rollout here and therefore we may be a bit behind Canada with their 90+ dead Dr's. Just talked to a friend of mine, whose mortgage payments have already gone up several times; she's now paying almost a thousand dollars more per month than she did a year ago. Unfortunately, she can't refinance because she wouldn't qualify at this point. Thankfully, she has a rental suite in the basement. The last tenant paid $950 plus utilities, but the new tenants are paying $1780 plus utilities, so that offsets the increase so far. However, soon she'll be under water again.
