Unfortunately, everyone is presumed to be a potential donor…saying “no” to your state’s DMV is sort of a trick. See lifeguardianfoundation(.)org FMI (and my other comment here). On my post on Instagram about this, someone I know who used to work in a hospital said his colleagues in the mortuary reported that - unless you explicitly tell them not to - your tissue, etc. are just taken. In the US, it is legal to do so.
