The math in this article doesn’t make sense. I suspect the 37.5% lifespan reduction would be applied to a person’s remaining lifespan. For example a man injected at 30 would lose 37.5% of his remaining lifespan or 18.5 years off the remaining 50 years (uninjected). Hence he would live to age 30+50-18.5 or 61.5 years old. Still tragic.
