There is something I have always heard about pneumonia versus a cold or flu, that pneumonia could be fixed with antibiotics, but colds and flue could not. Which makes the death of Diane Keaton from pneumonia seem a little off. I always find it a bit odd when people younger than me, who have millions of dollars, die from something I would have thought expensive health care would fix.
If big pharma and big doctor tells you to do something, do the opposite - eat a high fat diet, don't worry about high cholesterol, put iodized salt on everything...just avoid sugar and lots of high fructose fruits
Oh, during my lifetime I have certainly done the drinking part, but never smoked anything, even a cigarette. My throat and lungs just close up and say nope. No drugs, I was a single mom and had responsibilities that precluded jail, not to mention how stupid people on drugs looked. In the last couple of years my son has given me various gummies and I hate the feeling, just makes me nauseous for at least a day. Jim Beam (or many other kinds of booze) and ice cream. Not together. I will get to 80 in a few months. No prescriptions.
My closest friend smoked two packs a day for 20 years - and was full of life. The minute he stopped - diabetes, heart failure, and eventually sudden unexpected cardiac death at 44. All this overseen by pricey private hospitals, of course.

Anecdotally and long before covid, those in my circle who took the "flu vaccine" later told me it made them "sick as a dog."
Yup my grandmother got that stupid vaccine now she gets pneumonia after pneumonia. She got over it a week ago now has it again and worse.
