New escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh: Live updates

Baku has launched a counter-terrorism operation in the disputed region, citing an alleged Armenian military buildup

Azerbaijan launched “counter-terrorism measures of a local nature” in Nagorno-Karabakh on Tuesday, accusing Armenia of amassing troops in the disputed region. Yerevan has denied fielding any troops in the area, which is de jure considered to be part of Azerbaijan. 

Armenia accused its neighbor of starting “another large-scale aggression against the people of Nagorno-Karabakh” and alleged Baku is seeking to subject the region, predominantly populated by ethnic Armenians, to “ethnic cleansing.”

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has called for “an immediate end to hostilities” by Azerbaijan against the ethnic-Armenian province of Nagorno-Karabakh. The Azeri operation has been condemned by the EU, US, and Russia.

“Azerbaijan’s unacceptable military actions risk worsening the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh,” Blinken said in a statement on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday. “We call for an immediate end to hostilities and for direct dialogue.”

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan warned about a possible “coup” looming over Yerevan on Tuesday amidst widespread protests erupting in response to the escalating tensions in the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh.

“As expected, various statements come from different places, up to calls for staging of a coup in Armenia,” Pashinyan said in a statement, pledging to uphold “law and order” and react to the alleged “coup attempts” accordingly.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is trying to use his visit to the United Nations in New York to get Russia canceled from the international assembly. He questioned how it is that "Russian terrorists" have a seat at the UN. He also warned that Russia is poised to expand its war beyond Ukraine - an assertion with no evidence.

"If in the United Nations there is a place for Russian terrorists," Zelensky said, "it’s a question to all the members of the United Nations." ...Except that of course Russia doesn't hold just any UN seat, but it's permanent member of the UN Security Council, and exercises veto power in that capacity over the UNSC's most important resolutions and major decisions.

Polish President Andrzej Duda has argued that Kiev should not forget the crucial role Poland plays in Western military aid to Ukraine. The veiled threat came after cash-strapped Ukraine launched legal action against Warsaw over Poland’s embargo on the imports of Ukrainian grain. 

“It would be good for Ukraine to remember that it receives help from us and to remember that we are also a transit country to Ukraine,” Duda told reporters on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York on Tuesday. 

War Advances: China & Russia Announce A MASSIVE Cross-Border Project

Tensions are continually increasing as China has announced a massive cross-border project with Russia. China’s Xuanyuan Group Industrial Development plans to build a massive logistics hub in the Amur Region in Russia’s Far East.

This news comes as the freight turnover between the two countries has more than doubled over the past year, the group’s CEO, Hailong Xue, has told RT.  The project is one of several deals the Chinese industrial group has agreed to with Russian investors on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok and will offer equal opportunities for Russian and Chinese companies to participate in it.

Iran Expels IAEA Nuclear Inspectors

Iran has expelled several nuclear energy inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency days after it expelled one such inspector involved in the examination of Iranian nuclear facilities.

"These inspectors are among the most experienced Agency experts with unique knowledge in enrichment technology. They have conducted essential verification work at the enrichment facilities in Iran which are under Agency safeguards," said IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi in a statement.

In reality, the OSB will lead to a much more censored, locked-down internet for British users. The bill could empower the government to undermine not just the privacy and security of U.K. residents, but internet users worldwide.

A clause of the bill allows Ofcom, the British telecom regulator, to serve a notice requiring tech companies to scan their users–all of them–for child abuse content. This would affect even messages and files that are end-to-end encrypted to protect user privacy. As enacted, the OSB allows the government to force companies to build technology that can scan regardless of encryption–in other words, build a backdoor.

The partner jet that was flying with it did not track the pilot-less jet but instead returned to base. The stealth jet’s transponder was not working and the Pentagon was unable to locate the jet for 28 hours. They finally did find the crash site 80 miles from the base. This was an $80 million jet that went up in smoke. The incidence has raised questions about a possible compromise in the plane’s software. Is that true or is it a false flag to blame foreign adversaries?
