Israeli ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan demanded Secretary-General Antonio Guterres step down on Tuesday, accusing him of showing “compassion” for terrorists and murderers in a speech to the Security Council.

“The UN Secretary-General, who shows understanding for the campaign of mass murder of children, women, and the elderly, is not fit to lead the UN. I call on him to resign immediately,” Erdan said on X, formerly Twitter. “There is no justification or point in talking to those who show compassion for the most terrible atrocities committed against the citizens of Israel and the Jewish people.”

A Tuesday afternoon barrage from the Gaza Strip was reportedly the largest in number aimed at Tel Aviv since the start of Operation Swords of Iron.

Five Israelis were wounded in a massive barrage of rockets fired by Hamas from the Gaza Strip on Tuesday afternoon, Magen David Adom confirmed.

The rocket barrage, which caused sirens to sound across the entire central Israel region, sent over a million Israelis to the shelters. Five Israelis were wounded in separate incidents in Holon, Tel Aviv, Kfar Saba, Be'er Yaakov, and Yavne.

Iran-backed militia threatens UAE, Kuwait in response to Israel-Hamas war

Iran-backed militias in Iraq, Syria, and Yemen have upped their threats against the US and Israel amid the ongoing war.

Alwiyat al-Waad al-Haq, an Iran-backed militia believed to be linked to the Iraqi Kataib Hezbollah militia, threatened to target bases where American forces are housed in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates in response to the Israel-Hamas war on Tuesday evening.

Drone strikes on US bases injure two dozen troops

A series of attacks have targeted American outposts in Iraq and Syria in the past week 

American troops have been targeted by drones and rockets at least ten times in Iraq and three times in Syria since October 17, according to Pentagon officials. Washington has accused Iran-backed militias, but admitted there is no evidence to pin blame on Tehran's leadership for ordering the attacks.

Twenty American troops suffered “minor injuries” when two attack drones targeted Al-Tanf military base in southern Syria on October 18, the US Central Command told NBC News on Tuesday in a first confirmation of American casualties.

U.S. troops positioned in the Middle East have been attacked 14 times in the last week with a mix of one-way drones and rockets, resulting in 24 people getting injured, according to Pentagon officials.

U.S. Department of Defense spokesman Air Force Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder confirmed Tuesday that troops in Iraq had been attacked 11 times between Oct. 17-24, while during the same period troops in Syria had been attacked three times.

But the ancient Greek word that is translated as “pale” in Revelation 6:8 is more commonly translated as “green”. In fact, the other three times that “khlōros” is found in the New Testament it is translated as “green” in the King James Version. So if the most accurate translation of “khlōros” in Revelation 6:8 is “green”, that would give us horses that are white, red, black and “green”, and it turns out that those are the exact same four colors that we find on the Palestinian flag.
