Ben-Gvir: Jerusalem terrorist shooting shows how guns save lives
"Guns save lives. We see it time after time. In every place where there's a weapon, civilians, police officers, and soldiers save lives."
Thursday's terrorist attack in Jerusalem further exemplifies why handing out guns is important, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir claimed at the scene shortly after the attack.
"Despite the criticism from various people, I will continue with my policy of distributing weapons everywhere, both to emergency response teams and civilians," he said. "Guns save lives. We see it time after time. In every place where there's a weapon, civilians, police officers, and soldiers save lives."

Extended pause in fighting to reportedly see release of 8 Israeli hostages in terms finalized just ahead of 7 a.m. deadline for fighting to restart
Israel confirmed early Thursday morning that a temporary truce in Gaza would extend for at least one more day, with eight Israeli hostages reportedly set to be released, after negotiations went on until just before the 7 a.m. deadline to restart fighting. Shortly before 7 a.m., the IDF said that “in light of the mediators’ efforts to continue the process of releasing the hostages and subject to the terms of the agreement, the ceasefire will continue.”
Israel and US moot Gaza exit for Hamas fighters – WSJ
An arrangement similar to the Reagan-negotiated deal to lift the siege of Beirut is reportedly being discussed
The administration of US President Joe Biden is reportedly seeking a resolution of the humanitarian disaster in Gaza similar to that which President Ronald Reagan imposed on Israel during the 1982 siege of Beirut.
Reagan at the time pressured then Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin into halting the bombardment of the Lebanese capital. The US-mediated truce involved relocating thousands of Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) fighters to other nations. The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that Washington is discussing a similar arrangement for Gaza with the Israelis.
Saudis Offer To Invest In Sanctioned Iranian Economy To Deescalate Gaza Tensions
Saudi Arabia has for the past month been directly engaging Iran on the Gaza issue, a half-year after the longtime rivals restored official relations in a China-brokered agreement. Prior to that, a decade-long proxy war had raged, chiefly centered on Syria, where Saudi Arabia and its partners backed al-Qaeda groups in an effort to topple Iran-aligned President Bashar al-Assad.
But the potential for major regional conflict has returned in light of the Israel-Hamas war, and Tehran is seen as a key backer of Palestinian Islamist factions now holding Israeli and foreign captives hostage. On Wednesday, Bloomberg reports the major development that "Saudi Arabia has approached Iran with an offer to boost cooperation and invest in its sanctions-stricken economy if the Islamic Republic stops its regional proxies from turning the Israel-Hamas war into a wider conflict."

Relations between President Volodymyr Zelensky and Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny are "understood to be terrible," The Economist summed up on Tuesday. How serious is the Ukrainian internal political strife, and what could it result in?
The differences in opinion between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny were first reported in summer last year, per the UK magazine. It appears that tensions have substantially grown since then. What could have led to the current conflict between military and political leadership?
Russia seizes the initiative: Has the Ukraine conflict entered its endgame?
Kiev's desperate attempt to achieve at least some form of PR victory has given way to complete failure – so what happens next?
Six months after the start of Ukraine’s counteroffensive near Artemovsk [which Kiev calls Bakhmut], the operation completely collapsed and Russian troops were able to seize the initiative. Launching a series of attacks, Moscow's forces recovered some of the positions they had lost to the northwest of the city in the area of the Berkhovsky reservoir, and again took control over the line along the Artemovsk-Gorlovka railway on the southern flank.
Ukrainian Authorities Prepare People For Truce With Russia - Expert
Russia has never refused to hold talks with Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly said. To start them, Kiev must stop hostilities and revoke a decree banning talks with Russia, Putin said in September.
The West and some Ukrainian politicians are beginning to prepare the people for a peaceful settlement of the conflict with Russia, said Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik.
Moscow loses seat on chemical weapons council
Russia has traditionally held a position on the OPCW board
Moscow did not get enough votes from Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) members on Wednesday to stay on the Executive Council after May 2024.
The 41-member board is elected to two-year rotating terms by the 193 member states, “with due regard to the principle of equitable geographical distribution, the importance of chemical industry, and political and security interests,” according to the OPCW.
Russia Takes Control Of Iraq's Biggest Oil Discovery For 20 Years
Preliminary estimates suggested that Iraq’s Eridu oil field holds between 7-10 billion barrels of reserves.
Senior Russian oil industry sources spoken to exclusively by OilPrice.com last week said the true figure may well be 50 percent more than the higher figure of that band. In either event, the Eridu field - part of Iraq’s Block 10 exploration and development region – is the biggest oil find in Iraq in the last 20 years, and Russia wants to control all of it, alongside its chief geopolitical ally, China.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken came a away from a NATO meeting of foreign ministers on Wednesday with the conclusion that the alliance is holding strong on supporting Ukraine, despite the avalanche of negative reports on how Ukrainian forces are fairing on the battlefield.
He told a press briefing there is "no sense of fatigue" among NATO allies and they are remaining firm. "We must and we will continue to support Ukraine," he said following the NATO meeting in Brussels.
Iran may provide Russia with short-range ballistic missiles, say U.S. officials
U.S. officials have warned that Iran may send advanced short-range ballistic missiles to Russia for its military campaign in Ukraine. Iran has already provided Russia with armed drones, guided aerial bombs and artillery shells, according to U.S. officials.
Concerns arose that the military cooperation between the two nations continue to intensify after Iran showed its Ababil and Fateh-110 missiles to Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu when the latter visited Tehran last September.
Irish Villagers Erect Roadblocks To Stop Govt From Bussing Migrants Into Their Community
Residents of villages in Ireland have resorted to establishing barricades and road checkpoints around their communities to prevent the government from relocating asylum seekers to the area.
Locals of Dromahair in County Leitrim took the drastic measure to cordon off the village on Friday amid rumors the Department of Integration was planning to bus in dozens of foreign nationals without prior agreement by community leaders.
According to the Irish Examiner, three checkpoints were erected on roads around the village and members of the Dromahair Concerned Residents Association manned the roadblocks and checked cars as they sought to enter the area.
The White House Goes Rogue: Secret Surveillance Program Breaks All The Laws
The government wants us to believe that we have nothing to fear from its mass spying programs as long as we’ve done nothing wrong.
It doesn’t matter whether you obey every law. The government’s definition of a “bad” guy is extraordinarily broad, and it results in the warrantless surveillance of innocent, law-abiding Americans on a staggering scale.
For instance, it was recently revealed that the White House, relying on a set of privacy loopholes, has been sidestepping the Fourth Amendment by paying AT&T to allow federal, state, and local law enforcement to access—without a warrant—the phone records of Americans who are not suspected of a crime.
Special Counsel Jack Smith Demanded Info On Americans Who "Favorited Or Retweeted" Trump Tweets; Newly Released Docs Show
Special Counsel Jack Smith demanded information on Twitter users who liked or retweeted former President Donald Trump’s tweets leading up to the January 6 riot, according to a heavily redacted search warrant and other documents released Monday.
Smith’s comprehensive search warrant sought the 2024 Republican presidential primary front-runner’s search history, direct messages, and “content of all tweets created, drafted, favorited/liked, or retweeted” by his account from October 2020 to January 2021.
Whistleblower Reveals U.S. and UK Military Contractors Plan For Global Censorship
“Many people insist that governments aren’t involved in censorship, but they are” according to Michael Shellenberger, who adds “And now, a whistleblower has come forward with an explosive new trove of documents, rivaling or exceeding the Twitter Files and Facebook Files in scale and importance.” Shellenberger is just one of three investigators from a group called Public, who have documented the rise of the Censorship Industrial Complex, a network of over 100 government agencies and nongovernmental organisations, and have reported on the recently published documents from the whistleblower, which describe the activities of a group called the Cyber Threat Intelligence League, or CTI.
BREAKING: Federal Whistleblowers Confirm Obama Established Illegal Shadow Government After Trump Election
A whistleblower has come forward with an explosive new trove of documents, rivaling or exceeding the Twitter Files and Facebook Files in scale and importance.
They describe the activities of an “anti-disinformation” group called the Cyber Threat Intelligence League, or CTIL, that officially began as the volunteer project of data scientists and defense and intelligence veterans but whose tactics over time appear to have been absorbed into multiple official projects, including those of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
FDA Investigating "Serious Risk" Of New Cancers Arising From Gene Therapy Cancer Treatments
A gene therapy treatment used in cancer patients is under scrutiny by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) after the agency received reports of new blood cancers among treated individuals.
The treatment, CAR-T, was first approved by the FDA in 2017 and is used in the treatment of blood cancers. However, the agency has received “reports of T-cell malignancies”—a group of blood disorders—among some of the patients who received CAR-T treatments, according to a Nov. 28 announcement.
Netherlands is now reporting an alarming surge in similar illness among children as China
An alarming spike in pneumonia cases among children has been detected in the Netherlands, mirroring a similar surge in China.
Dutch health experts say a striking number have been sickened since rates began soaring in August, with most cases among those aged five to 14.
Surveillance data shows rates of the illness, which can prove life-threatening, are already nearly twice as high as the peak recorded last year.
Mpox kills 600 in largest ever DRC outbreak
Experts warn the strain of the disease behind the new outbreak has the potential to spread worldwide
Nearly 600 have died of suspected mpox in the Democratic Republic of Congo this year, with a further 11,988 infected, in what has become the nation’s largest-ever outbreak.
The death toll surpasses the 112 global fatalities recorded during last summer’s outbreak, when the disease spread among multiple Western nations for the first time, including the UK.

China’s First Emperor: Role Model For Globalists Now?
Understanding the philosophy that guided the creation of China over 2,000 years ago may provide insight into the critical choice America and the world are facing today. It is the choice between centralization of authority that characterizes all dictatorships, and decentralization which is at the heart of the US Constitution’s protection of our God-given rights.
People in positions of power are often seduced by the easy authority that centralization can provide. In 2013, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressed his admiration for the dictatorship of China because he sees it as a more efficient way of governing. His harsh suppression of the Trucker Movement in 2022 shows that he is increasingly acting like a dictator rather than elected official of a democracy.
Rothschild Wants Merger Between Corporations, Governments And AI To “Save Capitalism”
If you’re not familiar with a little organization called the “Council For Inclusive Capitalism,” don’t worry, most people have never heard of it. The group was formed at the height of the covid pandemic; as fear instilled by government officials and the media propagated the news feeds, the majority of the public was rather distracted. The CIC is essentially everything that conspiracy theorists have been warning about for years packaged into a single Orwellian entity, complete with dramatic piano music and a mask of humanitarian philanthropy.
