Iranian 'Spy Ship' In Spotlight After Undersea Data Cables Linking Continents Severed
In a statement on Monday, Hong Kong-based HGC Global Communications revealed that four undersea communications cables in the Red Sea were severed, impacting about a quarter of the data transmission between Asia and Europe.
The incident occurred one week ago, with the full extent of the damage only now coming to light. The cut data cables include Asia-Africa-Europe 1, the Europe India Gateway, Seacom and TGN-Gulf, HGC Global said, adding this is "estimated impact 25% of traffic - around 15% of Asia traffic goes west-bound, while 80% of those traffic will pass through these submarine cables in the Red Sea."
Houthis Offer Safe Passage To Ships Through Red Sea If They Obtain Permit
The Houthis are currently threatening to unleash more 'painful' attacks on Red Sea shipping.
"Yemeni naval forces are closely monitoring all movements in the Red and Arabian Seas and our appropriate responses will make anybody found to be involved in such operations regret their allegiance to America and Britain," a Houthi military spokesman said Tuesday. Nadwa Al-Dawsari, an analyst with the Middle East Institute in Washington, has described that the US/UK-led Operation Prosperity Guardian has essentially failed. "The Houthis feel confident. They were never held accountable for any of their violations, including attacks on the Red Sea."

Rejecting restrictions on Israeli Arabs, PM says freedom of worship will be maintained, with weekly review, amid worries Hamas, Iran may stir up violence; far-right minister fumes
Israel will not reduce the number of worshipers allowed to pray on the Temple Mount in the first week of Ramadan from the levels in previous years, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office announced Tuesday amid serious concerns over efforts by Hamas and its backer Iran to stir up violence at the flashpoint site and in Jerusalem in general during the Muslim holy month. The critical days ahead of Israel in the war against Hamas
Analysis: Sinwar's ambition to harness Palestinians and Arab Israelis across the region has failed after October 7, but could prove successful during Ramadan
The coming days are likely to be the most significant ones in the war against Hamas so far. As it now seems, Hamas has decided to stick to its guns, taking a hardline stance in negotiations and essentially refusing to agree to a cease-fire and release hostages before Ramadan, hoping to ignite the entire Middle East. The terrorist organization and its leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, who achieved more than they hoped for on October 7 but suffered a resounding failure in enlisting the aid of other fronts in the war, hope that this time Ramadan — which begins in six days — will make the difference.
Yahya Sinwar decided to launch October 7 attack alone, angering Hamas leaders - report
Palestinian sources claimed that the decision to attack was made solely by five Hamas leaders, among whom were Sinwar.
Yahya Sinwar, Hamas chief in Gaza, has been the object of criticism within the Hamas leadership for launching the October 7 attack without prior consultation with other Hamas leaders, according to a Sky News Arabia report on Tuesday. According to sources who spoke with the news outlet, those who made the decision to attack were Sinwar, along with his brother Muhammad Sinwar, Muhammad Deif, Hamas military chief, and Marwan Issa, Hamas’s Deputy Military Commander. The four had not consulted the rest of the Hamas leadership and its political bureau, who were ignorant of the decision.

US President Joe Biden on Monday pledged to continue pushing for a deal that would see Hamas releasing the hostages it is holding in exchange for a six-week ceasefire in the fighting in Gaza. “I will not let up pushing for a deal that secures the release of the remaining hostages held by Hamas, brings an immediate ceasefire to Gaza for at least six weeks, and allows for a surge of aid to the entire Gaza Strip,” he wrote in a post on X.

Troop Deployment to Ukraine Would Violate NATO's Consensus, Hungary Opposes - Szijjarto
UNITED NATIONS (Sputnik) - A deployment of Western troops to Ukraine, which Hungary opposes, would violate NATO's common consensus, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto told RIA Novosti.
"I have to tell you that there's a NATO decision in place which we support and this common decision of ours does not allow any ground troops to be deployed to Ukraine because that will be a violation of our common NATO decision," Szijjarto said. Szijjarto noted that it is reassuring to him to see a vast majority of the European leaders, including NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, oppose the prospects of sending Western troops to Ukraine in light of Macron's statement. A deployment of Western troops to Ukraine would increase the chances of igniting a third world war, he added.

Poilievre says Trudeau called 2021 election to cover up Chinese spy scandal at Canada’s national biolab
Poilievre said this was a "massive security failure" that Trudeau must ultimately be held responsible for.
Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre says Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called a snap election in 2021 in order to avoid any scrutiny over a Chinese spy scandal at the National Microbiology Lab in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
He reminded reporters at a Thursday news conference that China interfered in that election and helped secure a minority government for Trudeau and the Liberal Party. He insisted Trudeau wanted to divert attention from the security breach.
“He called a snap election to make sure the voting would happen before all this came out,” Poilievre said.
'Weaponized Migration' - A Coordinated Effort Playing Out Deep In The Panama Jungle
The ripe smell of garbage baking in the tropical sun mixed with the stench of human waste is one of the first things visitors notice at Bajo Chiquito, one of four large migrant camps in the Darién Gap.
The next is a sea of weary migrants, who hiked from Colombia along the infamous jungle trail, lined up to be processed by Panamanian officials. One young boy in line with a furrowed brow seems worried. Others stare blankly at ramshackle buildings slapped together with wood, tin, and cinder blocks. They wait patiently in the brutal heat and humidity. Most of them are coming to the United States aided by the United Nations, its nongovernmental partners, and regimes hostile to the United States.
Tucker Carlson Compares US to Roman Empire
Allowing illegal migrants into the US military as a means of granting them citizenship will lead the country towards inevitable collapse, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson said in a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.
In the clip, Carlson recalled the fall of the Roman Empire, stating that while historians have long debated the reasons for the collapse of one of history’s most powerful empires, one fact has been “pretty obvious.” “The roman military, its legions, became dominated by non-citizens, who in the end, because they weren’t loyal to Rome, turned against Rome’s citizens,” he explained.
Alert! Col. Macgregor Warns Dems Plan To Turn Guns On US Citizens Once Military Recruits Illegals
Retired Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor joined popular journalist Tucker Carlson in a recent interview where the military expert warned Americans against allowing illegal aliens to serve in the armed forces.
The Democrat-proposed “Courage to Serve Act“ would offer illegal migrants an expedited path to citizenship if they serve in the U.S. military as it continues missing recruitment goals thanks to unpopular globalist wars and far-left ideology being pushed on soldiers.
