Putin won’t be allowed to ‘dictate peace terms’ in Ukraine – Germany
Chancellor Olaf Scholz has claimed Russia is making a mistake if it believes Berlin will waver in its support for Kiev
Germany will not let Russian President Vladimir Putin forcibly alter Ukraine’s borders or impose the terms of peace, Chancellor Olaf Scholz has vowed. Speaking to lawmakers in Berlin on Wednesday, Scholz insisted Germany “will not accept a dictated peace at the expense of Ukraine.” “Law is stronger than violence,” the chancellor said, claiming that Putin had sought to violate that principle with the launch of Russia’s military operation against Ukraine in February 2022. “We will not let him get away with this,” he added.
UK troops won’t ‘fight side by side’ with Ukrainians – London
Britain has ruled out a “full-blown military deployment,” Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s spokesman has said
London has no plans to send troops to fight Russia alongside Ukrainian soldiers, a UK government spokesman told TASS news agency on Wednesday. The comment came after French President Emmanuel Macron said he would not rule out an eventual presence of NATO troops on Ukrainian soil, as the conflict between Kiev and Moscow continues. The French leader initially floated the idea in late February and later doubled down, describing Russia as an “adversary.” He denied that Paris was “waging a war” against Moscow, however.
France Blasts Russian Spy Chief's Remarks As 'Irresponsible' Provocation
Rejects claim that Macron prepared 2,000 troops to send to Ukraine
France's defense ministry has angrily denounced remarks made by chief of Russia's foreign intelligence service (SVR). SVR chief Sergey Naryshkin claimed Tuesday that France's Macron is already preparing a large contingent of troops to be sent to Ukraine. "Initially, it will include around 2,000 troops," he had said, but without providing any specific evidence to back the assertion. France's military condemned the remarks as a "provocation" - with a formal statement saying, "The maneuver orchestrated by Sergei Naryshkin, Director of Russian Foreign Intelligence, once again illustrates Russia's systematic use of disinformation." The defense ministry continued, "We consider this type of provocation irresponsible."
Ukraine Drones Again Target Strategic Bomber Base Deep Inside Russia
On Wednesday a wave of Ukrainian drones targeted a well-known airbase deep inside Russia which is home to strategic bombers.
The air base, called Engels 2, is near the Russian city by the same name, and nearby residents reported hearing at least four explosions during the attack. The Main Directorate of Ukraine's Military Intelligence (HUR) has since owned up to the attack, with sources in Russia confirming to international media that "targets had been hit" and the damage is being assessed.
Russia launches missile attack on Kyiv, 10 injured
Russia launched a ballistic and cruise missile attack on Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital, early on Thursday, injuring at least 10 people and damaging residential buildings and industrial facilities, city officials said, although air defenses downed all the missiles.
Air alerts lasted for nearly three hours. An 11-year-old girl was among the two people taken to hospital, city officials said. Klitschko said missile debris hit several residential buildings, industrial sites, and a kindergarten across the city. Residents of a multi-story building in the central district of Shevchenkivskyi were evacuated after one of the apartments caught fire. The attack also shattered windows in several houses nearby, and set private cars ablaze, an official said.

The first batch of the fighter jets will arrive from Denmark this summer, Dutch Defense Minister Kajsa Ollongren says
The West will deliver the first batch of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine within the next several months, with more to come later this year, Dutch Defense Minister Kajsa Ollongren has said. Denmark will be the first Western country to supply Ukraine with the advanced aircraft, with the Netherlands soon to follow, the defense minister revealed in an interview with Reuters on Wednesday, as she wrapped up her visit to Kiev.
Russian man stripped of citizenship for disinformation about army
Aleksander Somryakov admitted in court last summer to making a post about the armed forces that he knew to be false
A man convicted last summer of knowingly spreading disinformation about the Russia’s army has had his Russian citizenship rescinded, RIA Novosti reported on Wednesday. This marks the first time Russian nationality has been revoked for spreading libelous statements about the armed forces. Moldova-born Aleksander Somryakov was sentenced to six years in prison in July 2023 for spreading disinformation about the Russian army’s actions in Ukraine after he published ”a message on his social network page that was unreliable and refuted by official sources of information.”
‘Gaps closing’ in hostage talks, Blinken says as he begins 6th wartime trip to region
While in Jeddah before stops in Cairo and Tel Aviv, top US diplomat blames Hamas for not accepting earlier offer and coming back with new demands
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Wednesday that the “gaps are narrowing” between Israel and Hamas on an extended truce and hostage deal as the top American diplomat made the first of three stops on his sixth Mideast tour since October 7. “The gaps are narrowing, and I think an agreement is very much possible,” Blinken told the Saudi al-Hadath channel while in Jeddah.
Mossad chief said to brief war cabinet on Qatar talks; officials pessimistic
Hamas’s Doha-based leader Haniyeh accuses Israel of trying to sabotage negotiations following raid on Gaza hospital to flush out terrorists
Mossad chief David Barnea left Qatar on Tuesday and was back in Israel to brief the war cabinet on the negotiations to reach a truce and hostage deal with Hamas, according to Hebrew media reports. Barnea returned from Doha to Tel Aviv Tuesday morning where talks, mediated by Qatar, the US, and Egypt, resumed just Monday night. The indirect negotiations to pause the war in Gaza and release hostages abducted on October 7 are estimated to take about two weeks.
US speaker says House GOP weighing asking Netanyahu to address Congress
Johnson would need Schumer’s approval for joint session speech; PM talks to Republicans after being denied meet with Democrats by Schumer who says conversation shouldn’t be partisan
US House Speaker Mike Johnson confirmed on Wednesday that the legislative chamber’s Republican caucus is considering inviting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address Congress, amid a deepening divide between the premier and Democrats over the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza. “It’s one of the things that we have in mind, and we may try to arrange for that,” Johnson told reporters. “I think it’s very important for us to show solidarity and support for Israel right now in their time of great struggle, and we certainly stand for that position and we’ll try to advance that in every way that we can.”
Amid Canada's 'arms embargo': Here are the Israeli weapons still in use in Ottawa
The minister's announcement forgot to mention that in the last decade, the Canadian Defense Ministry purchased Israeli weapon systems worth more than a billion dollars.
Canada's foreign minister's announcement on Tuesday of an arms embargo on Israel comes at a time when Israeli weapons systems are now protecting Canadian pilots, fighters, and naval combatants around the world. They are deployed to protect Canada's borders and NATO countries bordering Russia, similar to when Canadian troops were stationed in Afghanistan in the war against the Taliban. For some reason, the minister's announcement forgot that in the last decade, the Canadian Defense Ministry purchased Israeli weapon systems worth more than a billion dollars after examining their performance, prices, and delivery times compared to those of other Western companies.
Hezbollah ramps up terrorist activity in 'unprecedented' Beirut-area deployment
Arab media sources claimed eyewitness reports that Hezbollah deployed terrorists in an "unprecedented" manner in the group's stronghold in Beirut.
In the wake of the ongoing tensions along Israel's northern border, eyewitness accounts of Hezbollah deploying its forces in an "unprecedented" manner in the Dahieh district were reported by Arab World News Agency (AWP) reported on Thursday morning. The district is the stronghold of the terrorist organization in the capital Beirut. The eyewitness recounted that "the reasoning for this was unclear," and according to him, Hezbollah terrorists have carried out checks and searches on passers-by on the main streets.
World on the brink as Taiwan admits US troops are now stationed on Chinese border
American troops are to be permanently stationed in Taiwan, according to Taipei, a huge move that will likely send tensions with China soaring as it president Xi Jinping covets the island.
Taiwan has officially confirmed the presence of US troops stationed on its islands in the Taiwan Strait permanently, a development that could further escalate mounting tensions with China. The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) passed in 2023 facilitated the deployment of these troops to conduct training programs for Taiwanese frontline forces. The move comes as China continues to assert its disputed claim over Taiwan, viewing it as a renegade province despite never having ruled it. The heightened military activities by China in and around the Taiwan Strait have prompted Taiwan to bolster its defense capabilities.
North Korea tests new hypersonic missile with the hopes of striking Guam in the future
North Korea successfully tested technology used in its new hypersonic missile on Tuesday, according to its government-run media.
On Tuesday, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un guided his military on a ground jet test of the multi-stage solid-fuel engine for its new-type intermediate-range hypersonic missile at the North’s rocket launch facility, the Sohae Satellite Launching Ground, the official Korean Central News Agency reported. The more powerful, agile missile is designed to strike faraway U.S. targets in the region, specifically the U.S. Pacific territory of Guam, home to U.S. military bases.
US Warns of Cyberattacks Against Water Systems Throughout Nation
(Bloomberg) -- The Biden administration is warning states to be on guard for cyberattacks against water systems, citing ongoing threats from hackers linked to the governments of Iran and China.
“Disabling cyberattacks are striking water and wastewater systems throughout the United States,” Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan wrote in a letter to governors made public Tuesday. “These attacks have the potential to disrupt the critical lifeline of clean and safe drinking water, as well as impose significant costs on affected communities.”
Florida braces for impact: Hurricane Haiti is about to crash the Sunshine State with no survivors…
Florida is gearing up for a massive impact. But no, it’s not facing down a Category 7 hurricane—it’s something even more daunting.
A massive influx of Haitian migrants is heading its way, all expecting a warm US welcome complete with open arms, free health insurance, and whatever else they might wish for. What is the current state of Haiti? An utter catastrophe. Yet, this was somewhat to be expected; after all, Haiti stands as the first nation established on the principles of DEI…Meanwhile, Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz is ringing the alarm loud and clear. He’s adamant he doesn’t want southeast Florida to turn into “Haiti.” He’s urging Biden to “do the right thing,” which pretty much sounds like a long shot.
New York Doomed To Be Migrant Central - Other Cities Take Note
Mayor Eric Adams’ agreement, announced Friday, to limit the time illegal immigrants can stay in shelters at taxpayers’ expense, is smoke and mirrors. It’s designed to fool you into thinking he’s solving a problem when he’s actually caving to the illegal immigrant industrial complex.
Adams claims the agreement, with the Legal Aid Society and the Coalition for the Homeless, will allow the city to evict adult migrants from city-run shelters after 30 days, saving taxpayers money and limiting the need for more shelters. Not true. The fine print says illegal immigrants have a shot at staying longer if they obtain a driver’s license, follow shelter rules, and show good behavior, or—get this one—apply for public benefits.
Watch: Migrant TikToker Tells Other Illegals How To "Invade" Homes In America
The Marxist destruction of private property rights is on full display after a viral video circulating TikTok, then posted on X, shows a migrant informing other migrants how to "invade" unoccupied homes across America and take advantage of progressive squatting laws.
"I found out that there is a law that says that if a house is not inhabited, we can seize it," the migrant said in a video on TikTok, which Collin Rugg first posted on X. The migrant said he has African friends who have taken over seven homes thanks to squatting laws. The video is very concerning because progressive squatting laws are getting out of control. These laws are being abused, and landlords are being screwed. Take, for instance, a woman who found her home full of people squatting illegally was arrested this week for changing the door locks.
'Compromised' Biden leading U.S. to disaster, says Air Force general
'There is something brewing at home and it'll take many by surprise'
With a presidential administration well-known to have been compromised by foreign adversaries – especially China – is America on the brink of disaster? WND asked that question to Brigadier Gen. Blaine "Blaino" Holt, USAF-Ret., who served as the deputy U.S. military representative to NATO and is co-founder of the nonprofit Restore Liberty. Holt fears the worst under President Joe Biden’s leadership, saying the evidence of betrayal is undeniable. "It's not statistically possible for an administration to make 100 percent of its decisions counter to United States interests without some other factor at play."
Gold prices have been hitting record highs — here's why the rally is far from over
The rally in gold continues with prices hitting an all-time high on Thursday — and there's room for it to rise more as central banks continue to purchase bullion in record amounts.
Prices could rise to $2,300 per ounce in the second half of 2024, especially against the backdrop of expectations that the U.S. Federal Reserve could cut rates in the second half of 2024, Aakash Doshi, Citi's North America head of commodities research, told CNBC. Gold is currently trading at $2,203. Gold prices tend to share an inverse relationship with interest rates. As interest rates dip, gold becomes more appealing compared to fixed-income assets such as bonds, which would yield weaker returns in a low-interest-rate environment.

Elon Musk unveils clip of his first human patient implanted with Neuralink brain-chip using 'telepathy' to play chess on computer just by thinking
Elon Musk has shared stunning footage of the first person to use the Neuralink brain chip to control a computer cursor and play video games just by thinking.
The groundbreaking patient, paraplegic man Noland Arbaugh, 29, was seen in a video shared to X using only his mind to play a game of chess. 'See that cursor on the screen? That's all me... it's all brainpower' he said from his wheelchair. Arbaugh said in the clip that he suffered a 'freak diving accident' eight years ago that left him paralyzed from the shoulders down. The Arizona man's successful use of the tech marks a breathtaking development - and bolsters beliefs from experts that it could revolutionize care for the disabled.

Supreme Court To Decide On Government Censorship
In Monday, March 18, the highly anticipated Supreme Court oral arguments for the Murthy v. Missouri (formerly Missouri v. Biden) were presented.
This seminal free speech case challenges the Biden administration for coercing social media platforms such as Facebook and X (then Twitter) to remove information that contradicts the government’s narrative about COVID-19 vaccines, lockdowns, health freedom, election fraud, and other topics. March 18: DC Rally To Restore Free Speech! shows that this is the most important Free Speech Rights case in US history! The Supreme Court will decide whether to uphold the injunction against five federal agencies to challenge government censorship of social media.
National Guard to be deployed for the upcoming Solar Eclipse
Oklahoma’s National Guard is set to be deployed for the upcoming total solar eclipse, when as many as 100,000 people are expected to visit one county.
In a statement on Tuesday, the guard said it would assist emergency management to cope with “an unprecedented number of tourists” on April 8 in McCurtain County, in the southeast of the state. The guard will provide first responders as well as units with hazmat response capabilities in case of an incident like an industrial fire. Lt. Col Jabonn Flurry, commander of the 63rd Civil Support Team, said: “This influx of visitors has the potential to overtax local resources and thanks to the training and experience our Guardsmen have working alongside local agencies all across Oklahoma, the CST is uniquely qualified to support our fellow Oklahomans.”
A “massive altar” has now been prepared in Israel for the red heifer sacrifice
Since the time of Moses, only nine red heifers have been sacrificed. Now, a “massive altar” for the tenth red heifer sacrifice has been built in Israel, and there is a tremendous amount of speculation that it could happen soon.
In September 2022, five red heifers were flown from the state of Texas to the land of Israel. Since that time, one of them has been disqualified, but the other four continue to be candidates for a red heifer sacrifice. As I discussed last week, there was “a practice run of the purification ceremony” in 2023. But an official ceremony must be conducted before the heifers get too old to be used for such a sacrifice.
