Commercial traffic through the Red Sea chokepoint linking Europe to Asia is down by over 40 percent due to the Houthis' campaign of ship hijackings and missile and drone attacks in solidarity with Palestinians amid the Gaza crisis. A month-long series of US and British missile strikes inside Yemen has shown no signs of slowing the militia down.
The US Navy fears a scenario in which the Houthis learn to build high-speed unmanned naval drones to attack ships in the Red Sea.

Egyptian FM blasts Hamas, declares it 'outside of Palestinian consensus'
Shoukry also said "we must give an account of how Hamas gained power in the Gaza Strip and why it received financial support."
Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry sharply criticized Hamas on Saturday, saying that "the organization is outside the Palestinian consensus, which recognizes Israel and wants to reach negotiations with it, because [Hamas] is not ready to give up its support for violence." Shoukry made these comments at a press conference held at the Munich Security Conference. He also said that "we must give an account of how Hamas gained power in the Gaza Strip, and why it received financial support to increase the division between it and the other peacekeeping Palestinian factions – whether these are the Palestinian Authority, the PLO or the Palestinian public itself."

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu over the weekend confirmed in a statement to President Vladimir Putin that the city of Avdeyevka in eastern Ukraine is now under the military's full control.
We earlier detailed the significance of the 'major' victory for Russian forces, and the devastating blow for the Ukrainian side, which is in retreat. "Today in the Kremlin, Russian Defense Minister Army General Shoigu reported to the supreme commander-in-chief of the Russian Armed Forces that the Center grouping of forces under command of Col. Gen. Ukraine needs ‘nuclear rockets’ – MP
Kiev must reclaim its nuclear status to confront Moscow, a Ukrainian lawmaker has argued
Unless Ukraine obtains a full NATO membership, it will have no other choice but to develop or somehow else obtain an arsenal of atomic weapons, according to MP Alexey Goncharenko. The Ukrainian lawmaker pressed US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on the issue at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday, wondering what other options Kiev has against Moscow, besides “becoming a member of NATO,” allying with a “nuclear power” or “restoring our nuclear potential” – but the American diplomat dodged the question.
Timofey Bordachev: Western Europe could become the new Ukraine
Once extremely prosperous states face a new reality, which could see old dark forces re-emerge
A side effect of the tragic Ukrainian problem for Russian foreign policy is that it helps us to understand the degree of economic and moral decay that our other Western neighbors would have to reach in order to pose a threat to our security. It is these two factors – impoverishment and spiritual decline – that create a critical mass necessary for an adventurer to drag his country into a destructive conflict.

Assange’s Final UK Court ‘Moment Of Truth’ Arrives As Wife Warns He ‘Will Die’ If Extradited To US
Tuesday, February 21 is the big day and ‘moment of truth’ for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and his legal team. That is when two high court judges in London will hear arguments on whether Assange can appeal a ruling to extradite him to the United States, where he would most certainly spend the rest of his life in prison, likely in a harsh ‘supermax’ federal facility. The hearing is scheduled through Wednesday.
Stella Assange, his wife, has warned that if the judges rule against Assange, he could be on a plane to US soil in a matter of days. He would be removed from the high security Belmarsh prison for a trial in the US on espionage-related charges and publishing state secrets, where a 175 year jail sentence would await him.

Another Headache for Biden as Democratic Lawmaker Urges Vote Against President
Observers say the president faces a difficult path to reelection amidst opposition from various elements of the Democratic Party’s traditional coalition.
In the latest example of opposition to US President Joe Biden from within his own party, Democratic Representative Rashida Tlaib publicly urged Michigan voters to oppose the president in the state’s primary election next week. Rep. Tlaib made the call Saturday in a video posted by the Listen to Michigan campaign on the X social media platform. Listen to Michigan is an organization of pro-Palestine activists in the state organizing opposition to Biden’s support for Israel’s deadly campaign in Gaza, which has killed some 29,000 people.

In a Feb. 15 hearing by the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, U.S. health officials side-stepped a question when asked whether the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is actively conducting extended safety surveillance on those who received early COVID-19 vaccines.
Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-N.Y.) asked Dr. Peter Marks, director of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, whether the FDA is conducting active surveillance and if there are any specific health markers they’re studying that may signal trends requiring further inquiry.

Pedophiles in Idaho have more to worry about than getting shanked in prison...
A new bill which just passed the House by a vote of 51-11 would allow for the death penalty for those found guilty of lewd conduct with children under the age of 12 with aggravating circumstances. According to co-sponsor Rep. Bruce Skaug (R-Nampa), the death penalty would be reserved for heinous cases, such as repeat offenders.
"There is a deep, dark, dark side in our culture. And it’s our job to protect the children. There are times when things are so wicked that retribution is appropriate," said Skaug, according to the Idaho Capital Sun.

WAR ON CHILDREN: Pentagon secretly installed DEI propaganda into K-12 public school curriculum for 70,000 children of U.S. service members
For the past year, Americans who have been following the issue were under the impression that the Pentagon's controversial Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) had been closed just like then-Under Secretary for Military Readiness Gil Cisneros testified was the case at a congressional hearing last spring. It turns out Cisneros was lying.
The Pentagon's anti-white DEI programs for K-12 public school children of service members are still going on, though now they are hidden within the curriculum where few recognize its existence.

Leading Scientific Journal Publishes Fake AI Generated Paper About Rat With Giant Penis
A leading scientific journal faces humiliation after it published a completely fake paper, purportedly written by Chinese researchers, which contained AI generated images of a rat with a penis bigger than its own body.
The Telegraph reports that the journal Frontiers in Cell and Development Biology published a paper that claimed to show the signalling pathway of sperm stem cells, but depicted a rat sitting upright with a massive dick and four giant testicles.
The illustration was reportedly created by using Midjourney, the AI imaging tool, which added labels to the ridiculous diagram using terms that don’t exist, including “dissilced”, “testtomcels” and “senctolic”.
Great amalgamation of critical global events and issues. Thanks!
Western Europe will become the next Ukraine if the nuclear rockets are delivered, and probably the US too.
