"This Is A Nationwide Insurrection" - Ottawa Mayor Declares 'State Of Emergency' Amid Trucker Convoy 'Occupation'
Protesters continued to gather and demonstrate against COVID-19 vaccine mandates and restrictions in Canada’s capital on Feb. 6, marking the one week anniversary of the so-called "occupation."
“We are on day eight of this occupation. Our city is under siege. What we’re seeing is bigger than just a City of Ottawa problem. This is a nationwide insurrection. This is madness. We need a concrete plan to put an end to this,” said the chair of the board, Ottawa City Council member Diane Deans, at the beginning of the nearly two-hour-long virtual discussion.
Ottawa police chief Peter Sloly agreed with her portrayal of the situation, saying that local law enforcement was “never intended to deal with a city under siege,” and decried the lack of resources – and legal authority – to disperse the protest.

The Ottawa police force began arresting protesters shortly after the city declared a state of emergency following the ongoing Freedom Convoy occupation of Parliament Hill.

Protestors are urged to remain calm after police seized fuel and cleared Confederation Park.
Truckers seem to have no worries about the state of emergency being declared.
Chair of Trudeau-funded ‘anti-hate’ network spreads antisemitism hoax to smear Canadian truckers
In an apparent effort to smear the truckers, Chair of the "Anti-Hate" Network Bernie Farber has spread disinformation on social media regarding the ongoing Freedom Convoy.
In a Sunday tweet, Farber posted a picture of an antisemitic flyer and said it was "taken by a friend in Ottawa at the Occupation. Apparently in plain sight."
However, it appears the image is identical to the photo posted on Twitter two weeks ago by someone in Miami, Florida.

An investigation of official Government of Canada data has revealed that the fully vaccinated account for 9 in every 10 Covid-19 cases, and 7 in every 10 Covid-19 hospitalisations and deaths across Canada in the most recent wave of infections to hit the country.
This is despite just 6 in every 10 people in Canada being fully vaccinated; suggesting the Covid-19 injections do not only fail to work, they actually make recipients worse.
The Government of Canada is publishing its official Covid-19 data in a way that makes it appear Canada is very much experiencing a ‘Pandemic of the Unvaccinated’, and that the Covid-19 vaccines are clearly effective.
But the appearance of this data is a fraud, and it is extremely misleading, because by digging deeper we actually find that Canada is very much in the midst of a ‘Pandemic of the Fully Vaccinated’ and it is unfortunately getting worse by the week.

Some members of the Federal Reserve are continuing to explore the launch of its own digital dollar, as the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston on Thursday unveiled its first attempt at designing an electronic form of cash.
The Boston bank’s research, conducted in a collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, does not offer a recommendation about whether the Fed should create its own digital currency.
The central bank’s leaders in Washington are in the process of collecting public feedback on that question now, and Federal Reserve Chair Jerome H. Powell said it will only proceed with congressional authorization. But in the meantime, the Boston team said Thursday that it has solved technical challenges such a product would need to meet.
Judge removes father’s custody rights to his children over refusal to get vaccinated
After refusing to get vaccinated against COVID-19, a father has reportedly lost the right to see his kids in person, one of whom is immunocompromised. The Canadian Press reports a judge in New Brunswick, Justice Nathalie Godbout, wrote in her Jan. 31 decision the revoking of the father’s custody rights was done “with a heavy heart,” but he can still be in contact with his children by use of phone calls or video chats.
Godbout made her decision, she says, because the father’s insistence he remains unvaccinated posed too great a threat and risk to his 10-year-old immunocompromised daughter, who receives specialized care for non-cancerous tumors in her blood vessels.
