Massive demonstrations rocked multiple Pakistani cities, including the country’s capital of Islamabad, on Sunday, with thousands taking to the streets to express their support to the deposed Prime Minister Imran Khan. He was ousted by the country’s parliament in a successful no-confidence vote on Saturday. Khan blasted the vote as a foreign-backed regime change operation.

“Never have such crowds come out so spontaneously and in such numbers in our history, rejecting the imported govt led by crooks,” Khan said on Twitter, sharing footage of the protests.

Russian commandos have killed a prominent member of Ukraine’s nationalist Right Sector group, the Russian defense ministry claimed on Monday. Taras Bobanich was accused by Moscow of causing hundreds of civilian deaths in eastern Ukraine during hostilities in 2014.

A Russian recon team killed Bobanich while on patrol about 5km south from the city of Izium in Ukraine’s Kharkov region, the ministry statement said. It said he was a deputy commander of the Right Sector responsible for reserve operations.

Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer is expected to visit Russia on Monday, officials in both Moscow and Vienna have confirmed.

The upcoming visit was first reported by Austria's Kronen Zeitung newspaper, which cited government sources saying that the country’s leader was seeking to become a “bridge builder” in an attempt to help broker peace between Russia and Ukraine.

The visit has been coordinated with the EU leadership, as well as Nehammer’s German counterpart Olaf Scholz.

Mikhail Mizintsev, head of Russia's National Defence Management Centre, has issued a warning that Ukrainian government, with the help of several Western countries, is preparing to mass murder civilians in order to blame these atrocities on the Russian military and the forces of the Lugansk People's Republic.

In particular, Mizintsev said, foreign media reporters have already arrived at a local hospital in the city of Kremennaya in Severodonetsk District, in order to film a provocation prepared by Ukrainian troops that would involve ambulances coming under fire from forces presented as Russian troops.

He also said that in Belogorovka in the Popasnaynskiy District, "neo-Nazis have booby-trapped chlorine tanks at a local water treatment plant with the intent to blow them up when LPR People's Militia forces approach the town".

The robbers, who dismantled the bridge, reportedly posed as state government officials; they used gas cutters and earthmoving machinery to break down an abandoned bridge in Amiyawar village, about 150 kilometres south of the state capital Patna.

In an April 5 report on peace talks between Ukraine and Russia, the major US newspaper disclosed that NATO is afraid that Kiev may give in to some of Moscow's demands.

The Washington Post wrote explicitly: "For some in NATO, it’s better for the Ukrainians to keep fighting, and dying than to achieve a peace that comes too early or at too high a cost to Kyiv and the rest of Europe."

Anonymous Western diplomats emphasized that "there are limits to how many compromises some in NATO will support to win the peace," and that they would rather prolong the war in Ukraine if they can prevent Russia from having its security concerns met.

Dr. Anthony Fauci on Sunday appeared to throw in the towel on more government restrictions over COVID-19 — insisting it’s now up to Americans to make their own medical risk assessments.

“This is not going to be eradicated, and it’s not going to be eliminated,” Fauci told ABC’s “This Week.” “And what’s going to happen is that we’re going to see that each individual is going to have to make their calculation of the amount of risk that they want to take.”

The White House chief medical adviser said Americans will have to consider factors such as their age, vaccination status and whether they live with vulnerable individuals when it comes to coronavirus precautions.

While denying most religious exemptions, the Air Force granted at least 3,781 medical and administrative exemptions, court papers say. The case is being watched by other Air Force families who are not part of the case officially but are also in the process of losing their jobs.

Spirit Airlines saw delays on 378, or 46 percent, of its flights, while 539 of United’s flights were delayed.

“They broke the tombstone on the grave, set fire to rooms in the compound — I saw the pictures and was shocked,” he said.
