The incoming service members are part of an allied force meant to bolster Minsk’s defenses
The first trains carrying Russian soldiers to Belarus under a new deal have reached their destinations, the Belarusian Ministry of Defence said on Saturday. This comes after Moscow and Minsk agreed earlier this week to deploy a joint force in response to NATO’s increased military activity on Belarus’ frontier.
The ministry said in a statement, “the decision to create a regional grouping of troops has been taken and is being implemented solely to defend” the borders of the Union State amid the “ongoing activity in the border areas.”

An oil depot and a border checkpoint have been shelled in Russia’s southern Belgorod Region, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov claimed on Saturday. The incident comes just a day after a missile struck a power station in the city of Belgorod, causing a major blaze at the site.
“We have another shelling. One of the shells struck an oil terminal,” Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel, adding later that the fire that followed the attack had been extinguished. No casualties have been reported.
Western officials makes plans to avoid panic if Russia uses nuclear bomb in Ukraine
Western officials are engaged in “prudent planning” behind the scenes to prevent chaos and panic in their home countries in the event Russia was to detonate a nuclear bomb in or near Ukraine.
Although a nuclear crisis is considered highly unlikely, the insider said officials internationally were re-examining plans to provide emergency support and reassurance to populations fearful of nuclear escalation.
Hints of the thinking emerged in a briefing by an official on Friday, who was asked if there would be measures in place to prevent panic buying or people fleeing cities en masse in fear of escalation after a nuclear event.

In Overheated Economy, Dems Forced To Cool Climate Messaging
Eric Sorensen, a Democrat running for an open seat in a northwest Illinois congressional district that Donald Trump narrowly won twice, concluded recently that his campaign website’s top issues section needed a major reshuffling.
A section entitled “Addressing Climate Change,” which was initially leading the page, was relegated to the no. 4 spot, according to a comparison of the archived version of the website. The revamped website’s top two sections were new: “Addressing Rising Costs” and “Securing Reproductive Rights.”
Strong US dollar is a headache – IMF
The US currency's surge is making other nations' fight against soaring inflation even harder, the global financial body suggests
As countries around the world struggle to bring down soaring inflation, the weakening of their currencies relative to the US dollar has made that fight even harder, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has said.
In a report published on Friday, the IMF elaborated how countries should respond to a strong dollar. It highlighted that the greenback is at its highest level since 2000, having appreciated 22% against the Japanese yen, 13% against the euro and 6% against emerging market currencies since the start of this yea
Europe Begs Africa for Natural Gas
Things are getting desperate in Europe…the continent’s energy crisis is so dire that Poland and Germany are now circling a liquefied natural gas (LNG) project off the coast of Senegal – one that’s months away from even producing anything.
The African field, which is projected to contain about 15 trillion cubic feet of gas (that’s close to half the total volume of LNG the U.S. used in 2021 alone), is only 80% complete and won’t be ready to produce until the end of next year. But now that Russia has halted natural gas exports to Europe, the EU is thirsty.
The U.S. Power Grid Is At Risk Of Catastrophic Failure? (It may be an over-statement to refer to the U.S. power grid as crumbling, but in many parts of the country that’s exactly the case. The North American power grid is old.)
Many of us have experienced a power outage at one time or another. Most of the time the duration of the outage is measured in hours, maybe a day, and in rare instances – a week or more.
The outages also tend to be localized and repairs happen quickly or power is “borrowed” from a nearby utility or network and rerouted to the affected area. The experience is usually a frustrating inconvenience and most hospitals and critical systems have backup power to get through the outage.

PayPal “misinformation fine” fiasco just a small taste of what is to come with Central Bank Digital Currencies and total financial TYRANNY
(Natural News) PayPal Holdings, Inc. – the popular online payment processor – just gave the world a glimpse of what is to come with Central Bank Digital Currencies. PayPal quietly changed their user policy, giving themselves “sole discretion” to deduct $2,500 from user accounts for each and every instance an account holder transmits “misinformation.”
The new “misinformation fine” was set to roll out in November. It would have given PayPal frightening new powers to police content on the internet and steal from individuals who think or speak differently from the global elite. As the news broke out, PayPal received extreme backlash, with users terminating their accounts in droves. PayPal’s stock valuation fell over six percent in just one weekend, and is down 50 percent year-to-date.
Furry Fetish: Children Now Identifying as Animals, Talk of 'Litter Boxes' Instead of Bathrooms (Exclusive)
As we march fearfully into a woke future, if a man can also be a woman, why can’t a human also be an animal?
What began as a sexual fetish subculture in the U.S. in the 19070s and 80s is now moving mainstream. After all, if you can choose your gender, or choose none at all, despite being born male or female, why wouldn’t you be able to choose to live as something other than human?

Great content as usual.
This isn't your fault, but I'm still complaining... I see a lot of news, linked here and elsewhere, that is only available as video without transcription. I don't have the patience (or often even the free time) to sit through videos which take 5x as long to watch as it would take me to read the transcript or a similar content text article.
Frustrating. I don't at all understand why people like video news so much. Drives me batty sometimes trying to find specific information in a readable format.
But again, not your fault. Just venting. I suspect some other folks who also don't have a heavy tv watching background may feel the same way.
Thanks for all the work you put into collecting and sharing this data.
Well, lots of terrible news coming at us from every angle, as usual. And things clearly are getting worse as each day passes. Yet we’re still alive despite the engulfing storm.
The good news which cannot be overcome is this:
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
John 14:6
