Ukraine to decide how much territory it trades for peace – NATO
Alliance chief Jens Stoltenberg said that peace comes at a price, but insisted it’s up to Ukraine
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Sunday that the US-led alliance aims to strengthen Ukraine’s position at the negotiating table, but added that any peace deal would involve compromises, including of territory.
Stoltenberg spoke at the Kultaranta Talks in Finland, following a meeting with Finnish President Sauli Niinisto. While the NATO chief said that the West was willing to “pay a price” to strengthen the Ukrainian military, Kiev will have to make some territorial concessions to Moscow in order to end the current conflict.
“Peace is possible,” he said. “The only question is what price are you willing to pay for peace? How much territory, how much independence, how much sovereignty…are you willing to sacrifice for peace?”
Russian Forces Seize Center Of Last Holdout City In Luhansk Province
On Monday Ukraine's military acknowledged for the first time that Russian forces have taken over the center of the key city of Severodonetsk, considered the last major place of resistance and holdout before pro-Moscow forces take the whole of Luhansk province.
"In the Severodonetsk direction, the enemy, with the support of artillery, carried out assault operations in the city of Severodonetsk, had partial success, pushed our units away from the city center, the fighting continues," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced in a written statement.
Taiwan is open to engagement with China
Talks must be done on an equal basis and without political preconditions, Premier Su Tseng-chang says
Taiwanese Premier Su Tseng-chang has called for talks with China amid rising geopolitical tensions with the mainland, saying rapprochement must be done without preconditions and with the estranged parties treated as equals.
“Taiwan does not want to close the door to China,” Su told reporters on Sunday. “It is China that has used various means to oppress and treat Taiwan unreasonably.”
Su made his comments after Beijing halted imports of grouper fish from Taiwan, a move that Taipei had alleged was politically motivated. Hours earlier, Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fenghe said China sought peaceful reunification with Taiwan but was reserving “other options.”
China Won't "Hesitate To Start A War" Over Taiwan As Series Of Private Warnings Conveyed To US
A new report by Bloomberg on Sunday has detailed a series of instances that Chinese officials have privately conveyed to their American counterparts that the Taiwan Strait does not constitute international waters, upping tensions given the Biden administration has been sailing navy warships through the contested waters on a monthly basis.
"The statement disputing the US view of international law has been delivered to the American government by Chinese officials on multiple occasions and at multiple levels, the person said," Bloomberg writes. "The US and key allies say much of the strait constitutes international waters, and they routinely send naval vessels through the waterway as part of freedom of navigation exercises."

"The Mashinsky Moment": Celsius Pauses All Withdrawals
Most people know I have been extremely critical of Celsius CEO Alex Mashinsky, ever since he participated in a “Gold vs. Crypto” debate with Peter Schiff where he rattled off one alarming statement after the next.
Tonight, it looks as though Celsius has delivered the ultimate piece of bad news for its clients - that they can no longer withdrawal their funds.
Celsius wrote this evening in a “Memo to the Celsius Community”:
Due to extreme market conditions, today we are announcing that Celsius is pausing all withdrawals, Swap, and transfers between accounts. We are taking this action today to put Celsius in a better position to honor, over time, its withdrawal obligations.
Binance, one of the largest crypto exchanges in the world, temporarily halts Bitcoin withdrawals.

Black Monday: All Hell Breaks Loose As Stocks Plunge Into Bear Market, Curve Inverts, Cryptos Crater
For all those claiming that stocks had priced in 3 (or more) 50bps (or more) rate hikes, we have some bad news.
All hell is breaking loose on Monday, with futures tumbling (again) into bear market territory, sliding below the 20% technical cutoff from January's all time high of 3,856 and tumbling as low as 3,798.25 - taking out the May 10 intraday low of 3,810 - before reversing some modest gains. S&P 500 futures sank 2.5% and Nasdaq 100 contracts slid 3.1%, in a session that has seen virtually everything crash. Dow futures were down 567 points at of 730am ET.
Gear up for the 2022 and 2023 Housing Correction: 5 Charts Highlighting the Pain Ahead for the Housing Market.
Housing is always the last sector of the economy to turn when the market enters into a recession. It should also be noted that the past is not prologue to the future but at the end of the day, people pay their housing or rent payments via income that comes from somewhere. Case-and-point is that the Great Financial Crisis of 2007 to 2009 did not lead to a housing bottom until 2012. It is worth noting that out of over 7,000,000+ foreclosures during that period, only 1,000,000+ were of the subprime flavor. The rest of those foreclosures came from vanilla 30-year fixed rate mortgages that went into negative equity situations and high unemployment made it where people could not pay their monthly mortgage.

California House Passes ‘Infanticide’ Bill Legalizing The Murder Of Newborns 7 Days Or More After Birth
The California State Assembly on Thursday passed what pro-life advocates have called a radical measure that they’ve dubbed “The Infanticide Bill.” The bill, known as AB 2223, was passed by a vote of 48-21 in the Democrat-controlled Assembly. It now goes to the state Senate. The measure is promoted by the state’s “Future of Abortion Council,” a coalition of 40 pro-abortion groups whose goal is “to Protect, Strengthen and Expand Abortion Services in California.” The abortion council is currently advocating for nine different abortion expansion bills…(READ MORE)
New Study Concludes Lockdowns Caused AT LEAST 170,000+ Excess Deaths In U.S.
Yet another study has concluded that restrictive lockdowns contributed to a massive spike in excess deaths, with a 26% jump in mortality rate for working-age adults in America.
The study conducted by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) found that there were conservatively 170,000+ non-Covid excess deaths in the U.S. through 2020 and 2021.
The study notes that the real number is likely closer to 200,000 because over 70,000 so called “unmeasured Covid deaths,” that is people who may have died only with the virus and not from it, were not taken into account.
Pathologist: COVID-19 shots causing foot-long blood clots
'Too many people are silent, and silence is compliance'
A pathologist who heads one of America's leading labs is finding unusually long blood clots, as long as one foot, in the bodies of deceased people who received COVID-19 vaccines.
Dr. Ryan Cole of Cole Diagnostics in Boise, Idaho, said his lab is "seeing mushy organs, we're seeing incredibly inflamed organs."
"We know the spike protein causes all the ... bad outcomes that the virus did in 2020," he said in an interview with Greg Hunter for USAWatchdog reported by Just the News.
Healthy young people now dying en masse across Australia, and the corporate media still won’t dare mention vaccines
(Natural News) In 2021, the government of Australia colluded with three vaccine manufacturers to oppress the Australian people with various levels of discrimination, coercion, propaganda, unlawful detainment, segregation, digital compliance systems and broader threats to individuals’ livelihoods. These totalitarian actions were not rooted in any data or science and provided no public health benefit. These actions were designed to break people down psychologically, to subdue their body autonomy and personal beliefs and force experiments into their bodies.
Insulin shortage might be next supply chain crisis
Solution involves a multi-faceted solution with more generics, new drugs and public production
Lest you think the baby formula shortage occurred overnight or is an isolated problem, think again. It can and will be solved with fewer regulations, a worldwide market, a Trumpian style public/private partnership, and a deep reserve. But baby formula is just the tip of the supply chain shortage iceberg. Insulin for example, is a far more chronic problem with deeper roots and just as life-threatening.
As with baby formula, the problem starts with big pharma territoriality, where the definition of chemicals is narrow, and the level of competition is insufficient. Dr. Scott Gottlieb, when he was FDA commissioner, took a big step in adding biosimilars and generic versions of older drugs to the insulin market but these efforts have thus far proven insufficient to keep prices down or ensure sufficient product.
Youth Blood Harvesting: Another ‘Conspiracy Theory’ Vindicated as Fact
Heavens to Betsy! The “far right” conspiracy theorist prophets are vindicated again.
No longer “conspiracy theory,” youth blood-sucking is official “fact” because the gatekeeping corporate media now acknowledges it.
“As macabre as it sounds, science is beginning to discover that ‘youth transplants’ really can slow down the ageing process.
The fountain of youth, it seems, is youth itself.”
“Youth transplants” is a euphemism for sucking out the vital fluids of baby/child “donors” and injecting them into aging recipients:
A 3 400-year-old city, possibly ancient Zakhiku, emerges from the Tigris River, Iraq
A team of German and Kurdish archaeologists has uncovered a 3 400-year-old Mittani Empire-era city once located on the Tigris River. The settlement emerged from the waters of the Mosul reservoir early this year as water levels fell rapidly due to extreme drought in Iraq.
According to the researchers, this extensive city with a palace and several large buildings could be ancient Zakhiku – believed to have been an important center in the Mittani Empire (ca. 1 550-1 350 BC).
It is located at Kemune in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
To prevent crops from drying out due to extreme drought, particularly affecting southern Iraq, large amounts of water have been drawn down from the Mosul reservoir – the country’s most important water storage – since December 2021.
