Ukraine says any deal with Russia would be put to a referendum

Any historic agreements reached during negotiations would have to be approved by all Ukrainians, President Zelensky says 

While hinting at progress in talks with Russia, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday that any “historic” compromises his negotiators agreed upon would be subject to approval by the entire country in a referendum. 

“I explained to all the negotiating groups: when you talk about all these changes, and they might be historic, we will not go anywhere, we will come to a referendum,” Zelensky told the Ukrainian public broadcaster in an interview.  

US Sending Soviet-Era Air Defense Systems to Ukraine That Were Stored in Alabama for Years - Report 

Following the collapse of the USSR, the US gathered several Soviet missile defense systems which were evaluated by US intelligence professionals and used to train American personnel. As the current situation in Ukraine unfolds, they may return this equipment to the eastern European nation.

The United States will reportedly transfer Soviet-made air defense weapons it obtained decades ago to bolster the Ukrainian military's arsenal amid the Kremlin's ongoing special military operation, The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday.

Citing undisclosed sources within the government, the report details that the systems, which include the SA-8 Gecko (9K33 Osa in Russian designation), are decades old and were obtained by the US to assess Soviet military technology that was sold around the world. 

Biden Calls on US Firms to Boost Cyber Defenses Amid Claims of Potential Russian Attack 

This is not the first time that top US officials have reported new cyberattacks against US companies by hacker groups said to be directly or indirectly supported by Moscow. Russia has consistently denied allegations of cyberattacks against sovereign states.

US President Joe Biden claimed on Monday that Russia is considering the launch of new cyberattacks on the US, and has asked private companies to beef up their defenses.

In the statement shared by the White House, the president said that due to the "unprecedented economic costs we’ve imposed" in relation to the Kremlin's ongoing special military operation in Ukraine, the country "could conduct malicious cyber activity against the United States."

Apparently not content with diplomatic war on one front with Russia, the Biden administration appears ready to escalate with China following on the heels of last week's persistent accusations that Beijing was mulling cooperation with Moscow on weapons resupplies for its Ukraine operation, as well as assistance on Western sanctions evasion.

Monday afternoon Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced more visa restrictions on Chinese officials related to prior charges that state authorities are overseeing the ethnic cleansing of Uighurs. It's certainly interesting timing in terms of pulling out the the human rights card, given that throughout last week the admin's China criticisms seemed exclusively focused on its "fence-sitting" over Ukraine.

He announced he is introducing a Social Credit Application combining Universal Basic Income (UBI), a Digital Identity & a Vaccine Passport all within their Diia app. He also says that because so much money is coming into Ukraine as he has become an international celebrity, he has legalized cryptocurrencies in Ukraine. He will allow foreign and Ukrainian cryptocurrencies exchanges to operate legally, according to the country’s Ministry of Digital Transformation.

International travelers still need the requisite visas, of course, but the decision puts the U.K. on a growing list of nations adopting a post-pandemic attitude toward travel, sparking optimism for wanderlust after two years of stay-home pandemic rules and border closings. This may, alternately, serve as a red flag for travelers still taking a more cautious approach. 

Our Governments have declared war on us 

The absurd and pointless sanctions imposed on Russia will cause far more deaths in the UK and the EU than the fighting in Ukraine will kill.

The huge rise in energy costs is going to force millions to turn their heating off. Economies which were struggling to recover from the pointless and destructive lockdowns will slide back into a long-term prescribed decline. The widespread and massive increase in prices will result in roaring inflation, interest rate hikes and massive, unending poverty.

And, I repeat, the sanctions imposed on Russia will cause more deaths in Western Europe than they will cause deaths in Russia and they will cause more deaths in the UK alone than the so-called war in Ukraine will cause in that country.

It’s war. 

US Deploying Thousands of Marines to Australia’s Northern Territory to Prepare For Possibility of War With China 

As tensions rise between the United States and China, thousands of American soldiers are being sent to Australia in preparation for a possible Chinese invasion of Taiwan.

A rotational US Marine force of approximately 2,200 soldiers will be based in the Northern Territory through September. 1,000 Marines have already arrived in Darwin, where they will train with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) to ensure preparedness for potential conflict/crises in the region 

Colonel Marcus Constable, commander of the ADF’s northern force, has said that the Australia-US relationship is essential. “It is a key way we increase regional cooperation with partners in the Indo-Pacific,” said Colonel Constable. “Together we conduct a comprehensive range of training activities including humanitarian assistance, security operations, and high-end live-fire exercises.” 

Documents expose US biological experiments on allied soldiers in Ukraine and Georgia 

While the US is planning to increase its military presence in Eastern Europe to “protect its allies against Russia”, internal documents show what American “protection” in practical terms means.

The Pentagon has conducted biological experiments with a potentially lethal outcome on 4,400 soldiers in Ukraine and 1,000 soldiers in Georgia. According to leaked documents, all volunteer deaths should be reported within 24 h (in Ukraine) and 48 h (in Georgia).

Both countries are considered the most loyal US partners in the region with a number of Pentagon programs being implemented in their territory. One of them is the $2.5 billion Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Biological engagement program which includes research on bio agents, deadly viruses and antibiotic-resistant bacteria being studied on the local population.

The U.S. could soon see Covid-19 cases rise again and vulnerable people are likely to need a fourth vaccine dose, one of President Joe Biden’s top health advisers warned as the White House calls for more money to fight the pandemic. 

Anthony Fauci, the longtime head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and a Biden adviser, said U.K. officials are already warning him of an increase there driven by the BA.2 sub-variant, easing restrictions and waning protection from vaccines, and that the U.S. tends to be a few weeks behind case curves in the U.K.

Nuclear missile convoy carrying up to six deadly warheads spotted on motorway going through Glasgow on their way to Royal Navy depot 

A military convoy was spotted carrying up to six nuclear warheads headed along the motorway through Glasgow to an arms depot on Friday. The convoy was seen only a mile south of Glasgow city center, heading to Royal Naval Armaments Depot Coulport on Loch Long, according to NukeWatch, an organization that tracks and monitors the convoys that transport the UK’s Trident nuclear warheads.

The weapons of mass destruction were a ‘reminder of the UK’s contribution to nuclear terror,’ the group said, amid heightened tensions between NATO and Russia – which recently put its own nuclear weapons on high alert. The route is a common one for UK defense vehicles, where Trident nuclear warheads were also spotted in May 2021, according to Glasgow Live.

The outage is global with users experiencing issues in both the US and UK. According to Apple’s System Status page, the tech giant is experiencing outages with the App Store,

Apple Arcade, Apple Business Manager, Apple Music, iCloud, iTunes, Apple TV, and more. Downdetector is also highlighting issues with other popular apps like Apple Maps, iMessage and Apple Find my iPhone. The problems seem to be due to Apple’s servers.
