Portugal finds 5 monkeypox cases in men as outbreak spreads

LISBON, Portugal — Portuguese health authorities on Wednesday confirmed five cases of monkeypox in young men, marking an unusual outbreak in Europe of a disease typically limited to Africa.

Portugal’s General Directorate for Health said they were also investigating 15 suspected cases and that all were identified this month in the area around the capital, Lisbon.

Prime Minister Sanna Marin of Finland said her nation’s expected accession to NATO does not involve an obligation to host NATO military bases or nuclear weapons. Neither idea is currently under discussion, she told an Italian newspaper during a working visit to Rome on Wednesday.

Marin was asked by the Corriere della Sera daily whether Finland would rule out the deployment of permanent NATO bases or nuclear weapons on its soil after joining NATO. Finland and Sweden have both applied for membership this week.

Ukrainian neo-Nazi gloats over brutally killed opposition activists, wishes their fate on all “traitors”

A Ukrainian officer who at one point commanded the notorious neo-Nazi Azov regiment has gloated on social media over graphic photos of dead members of an opposition party. The activists “disappeared” from the Ukrainian-held city of Severodonetsk in early March and appear to have been extrajudicially executed, with Maksim Zhorin implying such a fate awaits all “traitors.” 

“This is what the ‘Patriots for Life’ from Severodonetsk look like now,”Zhorin said in a now-deleted Telegram post on Wednesday. “They disappeared on March 7, and now their new photos have appeared. They look like that,” he added with a smirking-face emoji.

Major NATO War Games Set To Begin Miles From Russian Base

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization will soon conduct large-scale exercises in the Baltics, with thousands of troops from more than a dozen nations set to take part in war games just 40 miles from the nearest Russian military base.

Dubbed "Hedgehog," the drills will kick off later this week in Estonia and run until June 3, meant to simulate a Russian invasion. They will involve 15,000 troops from 14 countries – including the United States, Britain, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Norway, as well as non-NATO members Ukraine, Georgia, Sweden and Finland.

UK inflation hits 40-year high

The UK’s Office for National Statistics (ONS) said the 9% rise in the consumer price index is the highest since records began in 1989, surpassing the 8.4% annual rise in March 1992. The office estimates that inflation would have been higher sometime around 1982.

• The Consumer Prices Index including owner occupiers’ housing costs (CPIH) rose by 7.8% in the 12 months to April 2022, up from 6.2% in March.

• The largest upward contributions to the annual CPIH inflation rate in April 2022 came from housing and household services (2.76 percentage points, principally from electricity, gas and other fuels, and owner occupiers’ housing costs) and transport (1.47 percentage points, principally from motor fuels and second-hand cars).

After vaccines killed so many, U.S. airlines have run out of pilots and are now canceling flights

(Natural News) The airline industry has been left in shambles due to the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccine” mandates, which killed off or forced into early retirement so many pilots that there are no longer enough of them left to fly all the airplanes.

The corporate-controlled media (i.e., CNBC) claims that the “pandemic” is responsible for these losses, but we know better than that. Many transportation workers walked off the job and never returned because of the mandates, and that is a fact.

The REAL Threat From the Pandemic Treaty That Most Are Completely Ignoring

There hasn’t been nearly enough attention being paid to the World Health Organization’s Pandemic Treaty. This is, of course, by design. They don’t want the world to pay any attention to it until it’s too late, and that may be the case already. That’s not to say we should give up and stop fighting. We should fight until it’s signed in hopes that it won’t be. We should fight after it’s signed in hopes of negating it. And we should be prepared to fight when they use it to come for us, because they will.

With zero coverage by corporate media, scant coverage on conservative media, and shockingly little coverage from alternative media (which I’ll discuss below), it’s clear that the New World Order’s goal of keeping people in the dark is being achieved. It’s my hope that by illuminating the most dangerous aspect of the treaty, we’ll be able to shake some patriots awake and get more attention paid to this existential threat.

Wells Fargo CEO warns ‘No question’ WORST Is yet to come for Americans

Is the U.S. economy on track for a recession? According to Wells Fargo CEO Charlie Scharf, there is no doubt that a downturn is looming on the horizon. With the Federal Reserve moving rapidly to tame sky-high inflation by aggressively raising the benchmark federal funds rate, Scharf said that it is likely there will be some economic fallout.

“It’s going to be hard to avoid some kind of recession,” he said during a Wall Street Journal live event. Still, the outlook is not entirely bleak: With consumers still spending and businesses financially healthy by most measures, the bank’s chief executive said it will likely be a mild downturn. “The fact that everyone is so strong going into this should hopefully provide a cushion such that whatever recession there is if there is one, is short and not all that deep,” he said.

Apple Reinstates Mask Mandates For Employees In 100 US Retail Stores

Even though the ineffectiveness of face masks has now been established, Apple has decided to reinstate a mask mandate on its retail employees.

Employees at around 100 stores will be ex pected to go back to wearing a mask while working, due to a rising number of Covid cases across the US according to Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman.

Google’s DeepMind says it is close to achieving ‘human-level’ artificial intelligence

DeepMind, a British company owned by Google, may be on the verge of achieving human-level artificial intelligence (AI). Nando de Freitas, a research scientist at DeepMind and machine learning professor at Oxford University, has said ‘the game is over’ in regards to solving the hardest challenges in the race to achieve artificial general intelligence (AGI).

AGI refers to a machine or program that has the ability to understand or learn any intellectual task that a human being can, and do so without training. According to De Freitas, the quest for scientists is now scaling up AI programs, such as with more data and computing power, to create an AGI. Earlier this week, DeepMind unveiled a new AI ‘agent’ called Gato that can complete 604 different tasks ‘across a wide range of environments’.
