The World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions gathered in Tianjin, China, June 27-29 to discuss the latest ideas for promoting “the global transition to a green and renewable economy.”
Approximately 1500 participants attended the 14th annual meeting with a stated effort to “boost multilateralism and collaboration in a fragmented world.”

IA Director William Burns reached out to Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) head Sergey Naryshkin to state that the US “wasn’t involved” in Wagner Group leader Evgeny Prigozhin’s march on Moscow last weekend, the Wall Street Journal has reported.
Burns spoke to Naryshkin by phone shortly after Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko brokered a deal whereby Prigozhin would leave for Belarus in exchange for immunity from prosecution, the newspaper reported on Friday.

Major General Kyrylo Budanov told the War Zone media outlet that any assassination attempts that Russia tries will take time to carry out. However, Budanov also said that he isn't sure if FSB will successfully carry out the assassination. The Ukrainian military official also stated that Kyiv has for a while has been aware of Prigozhin's mutiny plans.
